Welcome to the 1998 NBA Draft!
Please keep in mind that this is purely a selection thread. Please keep all conversation about the draft confined to League Chat. The draft will officially begin Monday, December 8th, at 8 am CST. Lotto teams will have 3 hours to make their respective picks from the moment they are on the clock. Non-Lotto team(#14 and on) will have 2 hours to make their picks. However, feel free to make your picks now if you are on the clock. Also please remember draft courtesy and PM the person drafting after you to alert them that they are on the clock. "Dead times" will occur between the hours of 12 midnight and 8am, in which the "timer" on your pick pauses. Again, if you are around and want to pick during those time, feel free. If you are unsure whether or not you'll be able to make your pick during your time slot, feel free to send a list of your selections. Lists can definitely help expedite the process! Guys I can not stress how important it is for you to send a list. It speeds up things greatly and it's simply considerate. You've had 3 days prior to the draft to negotiate trades and so on, please do your best to NOT hold up the draft.If you DO NOT make your pick within your allotted 3 hour or 2 hour spot, your pick will be simmed. No exceptions. Do not PM the commissioner to change the pick after it's been simmed, because it will not be changed.With all that said, the Grizzlies are on the clock as of 8 AM Monday
