The Top of the Draft: 1997-1998

Post by 42PhD »

1. Tim Duncan. Drafted by Jazz. No titles.

2. Tracy McGrady. Drafted by Kings. No titles.

3. Chauncey Billups. Drafted by Raptors. 1 title with Raptors.

4. Keith Van Horn. Drafted by Suns, traded to Jazz after 5 seasons. No titles (has a chance this year).

5. Anthony Parker. Drafted by Cavaliers (not me), out of the League after 4 seasons. No titles.

1 title and with the drafting team, but he was not on a rookie scale deal when he won. Again, do rookie scale deals convey extra value or just allow you time to build while your star develops? Happy day.
There's no "I" in team, but you can find "Eat me" if you push it too far.
