Umm the gameplay seems pretty smooth. I still suck, I didn't play last year's at all. So if you did you'll pick it up quicker I'm sure. But the gameplay is nice. The game modes are pretty good.

The story part of the my career is imo, unlike anything I've ever seen in a sports game. It was done by Spike Lee, so if you're expecting a story about a white suburban kid with a silver spoon and a personal basketball trainer from the age of 5 then you'll probably be disappointed. But if you can take a story for a story and appreciate it for what it is, you'll probably love it as well.

I hate the story. Your player and the people around him talk as if he's he next big thing and he effing sucks. He's awful and he barely plays. I hate all the characters except the parents. There's nothing redeeming about any of them in my view. Maybe it's because I don't relate to it all but I hated the story and wanted to jump right into my career. Now the actual career portion is bad ass, lots of different options

Good feedback, I just wish they had someone in the shootaround (MyCareer) where you practice your shots to chuck you the ball. Having to grab your own rebound sucks if you are trying to work on your own shot.
