What player from the 2026 NBA draft would you have wanted to select for your NPBSL team?
Cameron Boozer

What do you expect this player to do in the NBA?
Boozer is the new face of the Grizzlies and at only 19 he has the potential to be an All-League caliber talent. I think his floor is much like his father as a nightly 20/10 contributor, but with his athleticism, good shooting touch from outside, and comfort playing point forward, I think he has a legitimate chance to be one of the best players in the league as we enter the 2030s. The Grizzlies hit the jackpot with Boozer and should return to the playoffs soon.

How would have such a talent contributed to your team?
He would instantly be the best player on the team. As we enter the 1990s, having an outside game is going to be more important and Boozer provides a nice scoring touch to a team that has been stuck in purgatory for a while.

I really had to marvel at the explosive athletes that define the draft in 2026.
There are so many great prospects of all sizes, but I think Caleb Wilson looks like a cornerstone for a franchise.
That boy got size, and bounce, and he added a 3 ball that is a game changer.
I like him over the scoring 2 guards because of his impact on team defense.
Rim protection doesn't just take 1 player out of the game.
If he can put up a no fly zone on defense, and keep attacking from 3 levels on offense, he's going to take over a lot of games.
I know Doug is going to say I just traded away Derrick Coleman, who compares to to Wilson, but this game made Coleman a defensive project, with limited offensive upside.
The Wilson kid is going to average 25 points and 8 boards, with over a block a game.
He is an anchor for a winning recipe.
I need 1 of those.

As someone who has very little knowledge of NBA players, I am going to try my best at this question. I see no reason why the #1 pick in AJ Dybantsa wouldn't fit well on the Supersonics roster. He's already shown to be a great scorer, just maybe needs to work on defense a bit. But he's very young and will have plenty of time to learn behind guys like Pinckney, bowie, perdue and Worthy. He may not be a generational talent or even a franchise player, but we wouldn't need him to be. He could very well be the Ed Pinckney for this team. As far as expectations in the NBA, he's playing on the Wizards. Unless that team feels like they've made the moves to try and become a contender, He'll probably struggle a bit until they start getting pieces around him. They were the #1 pick for a reason (lottery but also being bad).

I'm going to go with Darryn Peterson. I think he'll be a stud in the NBA. Utah doesn't have much and I think he'll have a platform to showcase his skills and I think he'll be an All-Star pretty quickly.

That being said, if I had him on the Kings I would immediately trade him to the Spurs or the Sonics for a 2nd round pick...because I think that's what I'm supposed to do, right?

I don’t reallly know much about college players coming in, but I really liked the C that fell to the Thunder… THE WEMBY STOPPER. I think this season he won’t be a massive contributor. But with Chet being a big ho and kinda injury prone, this dude can potentially see his role grow over the course of the season. I was secretly hoping the Pelicans would’ve been able to get him in the draft had they made a trade, but alas… no trade.
