Note: This trade is probably going to be denied by the game. If memory serves, there is a hard-coded limit on the number of draft picks a team can own in any given season (6; this trade takes the Bullets to 8 picks in 1992).

EDIT: Just tested and it looks like this limit has been removed from the latest version game (or at least expanded) as I tested on a single player league and was able to get eight picks for one year onto a single team. Not sure which version is running on the simputer. So "maybe" this will be denied by the game.

There has to be a way around this if that is the case given that it is not a "rule". Im all for if it was something that was stated to be a rule in our rules, but this is just dumb if so and is not even a real thing in the NBA. These trades have all been done in good faith and it is not like it's some kid on a $500 laptop just messing around giving themselves all the picks. Can it not be force traded by commish?

If the game code itself doesn't support it, the answer is "no, we can't force the game to do it." Consider this a "technical limitation" similar to the way there is no provision in the game to manually add or subtract any sort of games (exhibition or otherwise) to the schedule or to have more than 40 teams or more than 2 conferences or add "4 point shots" or whatever, etc. The game is limited to what it's coded to handle.

Best we can do if this limit is in place in the version we're running is manually track it and adjust the league files post-draft so players are on the correct teams.
