Which players are taking steps forward in these playoffs?
Who's performance should be encouraging for their team and their GM?
Who gave it all they had, but didn’t get support from their teammates?

Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful answers, which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.

Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5, 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.

Due: Deadline for Game 1 of Conference Finals.

Which players are taking steps forward in these playoffs?
James Donaldson is having a fantastic playoffs so far. He is a walking double-double right now regardless of matchup and is a pain to gameplan against.

Who's performance should be encouraging for their team and their GM?
Doc Rivers is the perfect facilitator. He is leading the playoff teams in assists and is humming along right now. He is making a case for best PG in the league.

Who gave it all they had, but didn’t get support from their teammates?
Tom Chambers from Golden State. He dominated against the Mavericks but it was in vain. Despite his gaudy performance we were able to contain Calvin Natt enough to survive game 7.

I'm sure I'm going to surprise everybody and shout out a guy that was a legend for our organization;
Larry Nance is showing his ass out there!
He carried Detroit past the Nets in the 1st round, winning player of the game in 3 of the 4 wins in the series that they took 4-1.
Then, he took the head up fade with one of the best up and coming players in the league and continued to handle business as usual, posting 22 points and 7 boards a game against the youngster, and adding 10 blocks in 6 games to push the Pistons into the Conference Finals.

The Rockets have to be excited about the play of Patrick Ewing!
He had quite the playoff debut, joining MJ as the only players under 27 to be in the top 12 playoff scorers, with a respectable 23 per game, to go with 12 boards, which was good for 3rd, and an outrageous 6 blocks per game to lead the playoffs.
That Boy GOOD!!

And I'll throw a bone to Kiki, who led all scorers, and may have been able to cause drama if Moses Malone was there to help in the paint.
