I see that I'm 5-1. I thought it was still preseason. That was crazy. I'm ahread of the 4-2 Sonics and, upon further inspection, their only losses that sim were both to me. Crazy. What do you see so far?
What's real?
What's fake?
What blew your mind in the first sim?
Let's start with what is real. Firstly, The Game Hating Me. Let's Start With The Talent I Should Have Benn Able To Draft Last Season. Karl Malone Is Averaging A Double Double With Over Four Assists. Ewing May Be Playing The Best Of Anyone In the NPBSL After The First Sim. They Are By All Accounts The Best Two Players Right Now In PBSL. Then The Guy I Was Able To Trade For, Dominique, Balls Out Just To Get Absolutely Rocked By The Cavs (Who Some Still Say Is My Shadow Team...)Mike Lowry wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 4:42 am What do you see so far?

I see the East being better than expected, and the West bring worse than usual. There are only 3 teams with 2 or less wins in the East as opposed to a whopping 6 in the West, basically an entire division's worth. I haven't looked into schedules enough to see who beat who, but if this holds, the playoff race in the West is over before it's even begun. I don't expect it to though.
The usual suspects being at the top of their conferences. The Bucks and Lakers are going to be the standard-bearers in their conferences until they're forcibly removed by a competitor. Injuries is the only thing I can see that could knock them out of the 1st seed.
The Blazers' 2-4 start. We saw this last season, it's going to take Wig a little time to get all of his new pieces on the same page...but once he does, look out.
Kurt Rambis and Kevin Willis averaging over 20 PPG. I'd apologize for being unfamiliar with their games, but in the case of Rambis, a scoring burst like this was never a part of his game to begin with! As for Willis, I think having Nance next to him freed up the post a little bit more than Cummings did, and he's taken full advantage of the opportunities.

I see some new powers emerging in the East. The Celtics have come out as a contender out the gate, and the Pistons aren't waiting 2-3 sims before turning on the gas. Obviously the Bucks are still the team to beat, but a McHale injury for a couple sims could open the door for some excitement at the top of the Eastern Conference. As for what's real, the Spurs & Lakers are real. The powers that be in the West until otherwise. What's fake? Sorry greepy, but while I love going big in the middle *winkwink*, Golden State's lack of a true option at guard is hgoing to catch them sooner rather than later. I think the biggest mind-blowing thing for me is McHale not leading the league in scoring after losing his top two scoring buddies. The Bucks ended up having a more balanced line-up as a result and not all points funneling through Mr. McHale.Mike Lowry wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 4:42 am What do you see so far?
