Rules: 1 point if you give thoughtful answers, which I will award after the timer ends for responses. The timer ends for responses at the moment the corresponding week's Sim is run.
Note: Use approximately 5 sentences as your bare minimum for 1 point. If you write 3 long, complex sentences, you'll still get a point. If you write 5, 3 word sentences, you will not get a point. Don't @ me.
lol. This is great for me. Considering I have 0% chance at the playoffs AND I don’t own my own pick. I’m ok with it though because I got a generational talent in Wilkins for my first. He is a better combo to go with Hakeem than Ralph. Where I sold him off like the Rockets did IRL, and that got them a championship, so fingers crossed.
If my pick jumps into top three, You Better Believe My Inner Ric Flair Will Come Back Out Though.
The East is all set for playoffs and is only playing for position now so I'm guaranteed playoffs which is great not having to worry about. We'll get Terry Cummings back in time and if we stay healthy I think we can get to the finals. Winning it all is a different scenario, though, because gameplan plays a big part in that. There are people with a lot more experience than me who can make that work in their favor. The other obstacle I face would be the Bucks who look hard to beat. Maybe I get lucky, just need one good series. All that to say my odds start the same as everyone else at about 8% but I'd give myself up to 25% barring any injuries.
Love competing so any season we're in the playoffs is a good season. It's not only acceptable, but expected. We've been building our roster with one goal in mind and the first step to getting there is making playoffs. We don't expect to miss many.

Why is it ideal, acceptable, or intolerable??
I honestly thought I had better odds the last few seasons. I haven't had consistent play out of my team, and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong game plan-wise to get them to max production. I'm still a good team with a lot of talent, but so is all of the teams in the playoffs in the East. I would put myself at 15% to winning it all. It's actually becoming frustrating, because I can't figure out what to do. I'm at the point of selling everything on my team, but I don't have my pick next season, so I have at least one more year with this group of players.
What kind of odds does your team have of winning it all this season?
0% we are eliminated from the playoffs.
If you won't make the playoffs, what are you odds of winning the lottery?
Under the current NBA rules, the team in the 10 spot has a 3% chance to get the #1 pick. I like my chances.
How do you feel about your team being in this position at this time?
It's fine, the West is a lot tougher than I expected it to be so the squad has floundered over the past few seasons. We are playing better recently but there is still a lot of work to do to make this team an actual contender.
Why is it ideal, acceptable, or intolerable??
It is acceptable since we are playing the long game. I think we are playing ourselves, but I'll save that for another town hall.
What kind of odds does your team have of winning it all this season?
We’ve got a real puncher’s chance, Knicks have a mean right hook, we just dont play defense. If we value every possession, let Johnny steer late, and keep Moses and Bernard living at the rim, we can beat anybody four times.
If you won't make the playoffs, what are your odds of winning the lottery?
We likely will make the playoffs here in New York, barring something tragic, but funny enough, we also have a chance of winning the lottery thanks to @BigDaddyd8720 out there in Seattle. Praying for that downfall!
How do you feel about your team being in this position at this time?
Battle-tested and trending the right way. We’ve tightened the turnovers, the defense travels, and our stars are in rhythm. Pow Pow
Why is it ideal, acceptable, or intolerable?
It’s acceptable—we control our destiny and our identity is clear. Ideal is home court, and intolerable would be slipping into chaos and out the playoffs; that’s not happening on my watch.
Welcome to the Garden!
If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere!
Not that I would ever gamble on a game or a team that I could actually influence the level that they compete on, but I think I have a good idea of my chances of winning.
I would put me at about 12 or 15 to 1 to win it all. I am clearly not the favorite, or even the top 3, but I have a puncher's chance. And I like being a puncher just fine.
I was very happy to dive deep enough to make the apron before the deadline.
I was trying to make some trades to get better, which I would have been happy to make and take to the tax man, but nothing ever materialized, and I didn't want to deal with the IRS for a trip to the Conference Finals.
The way it turned out, I still like my chances to make the Conference Finals, and I intend to compete when I get there.
I would say it's acceptable to win the division and not be the favorite to win it all, but I will likely be looking at a tear down soon if Buck and Larry don't take steps forward. They're both entering their primes, and I need them to take over games or I'll be looking for packages to replace them as early as draft day.
What kind of odds does your team have of winning it all this season?
Being the best record in the league, I like to think we have a good shot at making it to the Finals, but you know, you never know how injuries or maybe not-so-ideal match-ups play out. Last year the Bullets took my starstudded squad out in the Conf Finals. We can never underestimate anyone... but we like to think the title is ours to lose.
How do you feel about your team being in this position at this time?
It's a good feeling, but if the championship doesn't come, it really makes you think how much more would it take to put it over the top. So there's a little pressure... heavy is the crown. But this team is still really young and has plenty of room to grow... problem will be moreso about the tax man coming.
My team has 0% chance of making the playoffs. But my odds in the lottery are decent. Should finish with 7th or 8th best odds so I’m happy with that considering I wasn’t able to get my own pick back.
All things considered I feel ok about where my team is at. I was expecting another playoff berth and possibly a series win but that obviously didn’t happen. But I was able to get myself started on a rebuild sooner so I can hopefully bounce back fairly quickly.
