Hi Everyone,

As I mentioned in this thread, we had some confusion with the available teams list and are re-coordinating lists/running the assignment for unclaimed teams. I have a rough schedule for how things will flow this week, but if the team claiming process moves quickly, we can push Wednesday's assigned items up earlier. Without further ado....

Monday, Dec 4:
- Team Announcement - Evening

Tuesday, Deb 5:
- Team Swap deadline - 8pm CST

Wednesday, Dec 5:
- Lottery for Creation Draft (all 23 teams) - AM
- Index updated with full roster of players available in draft for the league to prep - AM
- Creation Draft Thread will be posted - AM

Thursday, Dec 6:
- Creation Draft Begins - 8am CST -- Feel free to pick before 8am! PICKS CAN COME IN SOONER THAN THIS!

Team Swapping:
Teams who received a team through the Team Assignment process are allowed to "exchange" franchises with other GMs who were in the Team Assignment process. This is allowed until the Creation Draft. Whether or not there is a cost involved is up to the GMs involved (points, creation draft pick swaps). Pick swaps would be blind. You will not know what your draft picks will look like by the team swap deadline... so be careful if you use draft picks in these deals.

• Example: I'm originally the Mavericks, BigDaddyD is the Lakers. I want the Lakers. I offer him my 4th round pick and Mavericks name for 7th Round pick and Lakers name. If we complete the trade/I become the Lakers... once the creation draft order is processed, I will owe BigDaddyD the Lakers 4th round pick in the draft without knowing where the Lakers will be in the 4th round. I would receive the Mavericks 7th round pick.

Starting Bank Totals:
Since we are starting anew, banks will NOT be carrying over from the previous iteration, nor will tax bills/penalties. As a result, we will be requesting that everyone create a new bank thread in the Points System forum and start your bank with 30 points.

Info/Tips for the Creation Draft to help it flow:
- Teams will be on the clock for 2 HOURS
- When doing the creation draft, please make sure your post includes: PICK ROUND & NUMBER, TEAM NAME, FULL PLAYER NAME AS SEEN ON INDEX (No Renames), and if possible tag the next team in the post using the [ mention][/mention ] code (remove the spaces)
- If you know you may not be available to make your pick, you can PM lists to @IamQuailman, @BigDaddyd8720, & @AngryBanana so we can post on the thread for you
- In order to ensure expedited creation drafting, NO TRADES DURING THE CREATION DRAFT
- Since we are using historical drafts and real players, no more re-names will be allowed for the foreseeable future.

A quick reminder to everyone:

We will be strictly enforcing the 1hr time limit for picks through the end of the draft. If one of the 3 people with node processing power is online and available to post and sim, it will be completed exactly at the 1hr mark or as close to it as possible. If your pick is within 8-10 picks, take 5-10 minutes and send a list of 10-15 players to @AngryBanana, @BigDaddyd8720, & myself. We are happy to post your top options for you as you request. This has been a slog, but we are almost there. Let's work together to keep this thing moving along so we can get a season started.

Suggestion: If we can submit (short) lists of yellow players we'd like to prioritize (for the commissioners: these can be preloaded into FBB to make sure your list is preferred to the "auotpick" via the "Draft List" button, once a list is loaded, the autodraft will pick players from that list in order, if any are left, before the computer's preferred pick is drafted), that might give us the best of both worlds... those that want control of their bench get some control and those that want to just sim it and get it over with can get their wish.

From the commissioner's perspective, the process is:

1. Enter each team's list via selecting their team from the "Active Team" dropdown then use the "Draft List" button to enter their list in order.
2. In the draft selection window, press "Finish Draft" to let the computer make all remaining picks.
3. ???
4. Profit!

I didn't plan things this way but as things are, I am camping tomorrow thru Monday evening. So, if you were hoping to get some points from your presser to apply to preseason paid trainings...i'm afraid i got nothing for you.

If powers that be work something out so that you can use presser points toward training, so be it. I will work on the backend to make sure everything adds up. In the event that it doesn't add up, see my presser and understand what's coming.
