What adjustments have you made to your game plan?
It's been less about gameplan for me and more about lineup - I tightened my rotation from 8 players to 7 players after watching Paul Griffin's Defensive Efficiency, deciding his play was actively hurting us, and dropping him from backup PF/C to third-string PF/C. This necessitated some other lineup shuffling, moving Cedric Maxwell to SF and starting David Thompson at PG instead of bringing him off the bench.
What did you expect initially, that didn't play out the way you wanted or expected?
If you haven't adjusted, how could you tell that your team was primed to perform the way it has?
Related to the above, I expected my team to have an efficient offense and a middle-of-the-road defense. What I got was a team with a great offense, but a defense so bad it was letting other teams score even more than we did. That was problematic for obvious reasons... just like it doesn't really matter your offense is so bad you barely score if your defense is so great the other team can't score at all, it doesn't matter if you're atop the league in scoring if you're allowing others even more points!
I'm pleased with the way the team has performed since the change; we went from having a net negative point differential on the season (-0.1 after Sim 2) to a net positive (+3.2 after Sim 3); our defense is still not great by any means, but we're at least not actively abysmal now. Will definitely be considering some defensive training in the Weight Room when the training periods open up.
