NOT TRADING (Can't trade by rule, RFA signings this off-season, don't ask):
- Lester Conner
- Quintin Dailey
- James Worthy
- Thurl Bailey - Part of my "bigs of the future" group - I could be persuaded to move him for better-fitting young bigs and/or picks, though.
- Jon Koncak - Blue-potential big entering year 2 of a rookie-scale deal. Lots of time for him to develop
- Sedale Threatt - Solid perimeter defender on a rookie-scale contract.
- Jeff Lamp - Veteran combo guard on an inexpensive contract. Not going to make mistakes, in his prime.
- Randy Breuer - Solid big on a rookie-scale deal.
- John Salley - Solid big on a rookie-scale deal.
- Frank Brickowski - Solid big on a rookie-scale deal (sensing a pattern?)
- Mike Brown - Defensive specialist on a rookie-scale deal.
- Orlando Woolridge - One-dimensional offensive threat, but cheap.
- Alex English - High-grade scorer, not really part of my plans due to age. Will be relatively easy to get.
- Roy Tarpley - Part of my "bigs of the future" group
- Kelly Tripucka - Finals MVP in 1985. I expect him to round back into form this season following a TC hit (he was insured) that made him take a step back last season.
- Starting Center with excellent rebounding skills
- Starting wing defender (both post and perimeter) - offense not required, but a plus.
- Pass-first backup point guard
- Future assets to help me get the above (i.e., picks and points)
