S72 Walter Payton MANning of the year Award.

Post by Jedihero »

This should be the GM who you think has either been the best help throughout the year to other members, has participated in nearly everything throughout the year, or has given the best responses in Town Halls.

Anybody who submits a nomination can claim 1 point (excluding self-nominations)

Max is 1 point, even if you submit nominations in other categories

Winning nomination gets an additional point like last season

Submit your nominations by the End of Conference Finals Sim.

LINK YOUR AWARD NOM, if you do not link, the item will still be posted but if it wins - the person that nominated will not get the points.

I am going to nominate David of the Pelicans for Man of the year. He runs the pickems with no problems and always has a cool head through different times. He also has been instrumental in first the growth of the league adding the Timberwolves and the Magic, but he also managed to keep cool heads between the Nuggets and Suns. The second one is something I never thought possible personally and could not do myself.

I am going to nominate Greeple for his handling of the media controversy.
I did not vote for him to get points for his article which was at the center of the debate, and I know he is not taking the points for stepping in to complete the coordinator responsibility for the rest of the season, so I think it's only right to grant him these points for solid investment for the well being of the league.
It was a high road move that should be recognized.

I also want to add that this is not shade on Charlie.
Aside from Jon's article, there was a ton of trash and bullshit going on that would have frustrated the hell out of me as well.
I appreciate his approach to taking on the role responsibly, and I hope he appreciates that the league voted in accordance with his thinking on most of the articles.
What cha gonna do
