I haven't written an article in a few seasons I think. And this inspiration comes immediately from Greeple in his last article about the different contenders to stop the Pistons 4 peat. It gave me a cool idea of writing something about every single owner or team. Some folks may get both and it may get a little dusty in here because hey, I am Mr Sensitive.
Bobcats @drkavarga - man I hate how you let widener get hit in TC. Overall I think you're at a weird point where you're not quite ready to really do anything. But you also have some guys who are about to require money this off-season. Hopefully the school stress has leveled off a little bit as you get more experience and comfortable in the position. You've been good to me and I appreciate you.
Bucks @Mforney1 - oh man, where do I begin? Do I take it back to 09 when we were drunk in your dorm room as underaged college kids? I've known you longer than anyone in this sim league by a wide margin. I'm glad you joined the league with me. I do wish you were more active on your own without me having to nudge you to do things but I know you have that situation you're dealing with. So I'm patient. Please put Looney on the block. And keep being patient with the build. Brandin and Jay are definitely your two best young assets. Unfortunately their primes aren't close but that's a problem to be figured out later on. For now keep stacking the talent and using money to gain players that you can flip later for points (Looney)
Bulls @garbageman - I am a product of your thinking in this game. I am picking your brain even when you don't think I am. MexicanMamba is my roommate and I still think you're the person I talk to the most…..in life overall outside of coworkers. I think we've pushed into a spot where I can truly call you a friend of mine. I appreciate you, I love you. And you just so happen to live in my favorite city in the US, so there's gonna be a day where I visit. And we will meet up in person to make the friendship official official. Thanks for being my daily chat mate. There's no game to talk to you about. You are the king of this shit. But I will say… rinse (118-116)and repeat (137-108)
Cavaliers @jlmarines - the Guzman thing suuuucks. But I will say, getting out of the Isaac contract was brilliant. I felt like it was a 1-1.5 year window with that contract anyways. Even without an injury. You have one of the stars in this league in Vassell. I just wish you had found a way to bring in a prospect with the Isaac trade. Because you don't really have a way to bring in talent around V. This is deja vu from a few years ago when you kinda went all in after the garland trade. You've not been bad enough to get high picks, but you've also been limited with your talent at the top. It's a tricky situation, I truly don't know what I would do if I was the owner of your team because it seems hard. It gives me Rockets and Sion vibes. but for now, go into next year's off-season with 2 good players and see what you can do with max money and Free Agency guys like Hoyt and Stan will be on the market.
Celtics @AngryBanana - haha man, from enemies to being cool. I definitely think you're hesitant with me at times because of our past. But trust me, we're all good man. It's nothing but love I promise. If I see you in the finals though, I will show no mercy, so be prepared. Hopefully you're having a good time in France. I'm glad you finally built a team that seems to work. I know you have been trying for a few seasons now. Wide open Omega conference. Those playoffs should be great. Good luck bud.
Grizzlies @@K-100 - I don't know you like at all, but you've been absolutely amazing to me during these last few seasons. Always working with me on trades to take down the juggernaut. I'm not qualified to tell a previous champ how to run his team. But I am willing to compliment when I think it's being run flawlessly. The definition of patient in the dictionary is a picture of your face and the grizzlies logo tatted on it. I love negotiating and chatting game with you because you're so mellow. You have 4 absolute future stars. Hopefully you can manage a legitimate run with them. I do think Bane is your odd man out. I get on the Mavs about their wings, and you too have an abundance. You'll need a star big at some point and bane is the piece to do it. I think giddey is close to purple right? That sucks because he would be an amazing PG if you could increase his handles to limit turnovers. Even then, he's still gonna be great.
Hawks - @cashcab I’m waiting for you to break out from under your brother’s shadows and truly make an impact on this game. Someone else alluded to it in a town hall but with Herman you absolutely have a chance to make some noise next season. You’re not going to get FAs to come to Atlanta so you have to get creative with your talent, points, and cap space to land a star. Some teams are going to be selling and are already selling. Can you snag AJ blaze from the Lakers for some temporary fun? Idk but let’s figure it out. BOLD
Heat @Mike Lowry - the game is just a lot more fun with you in it. Every once in a while you say something on the forum that makes me crack up. You’re a cool guy and you’ve also helped me along these years. Thanks for picking up the Town Halls you’re doing a great job. But this season you’re the opps so if we both manage to beat the odds and make the finals. You’re getting clapped, I'm not holding back. We will play each other twice this next sim, good luck. Even though we’re enemies, can you package points with Rinker and Wemby and go get Amen? It’s a rental but man you have as good of a shot as anyone over there in Omega to get to the Finals. Tell the Wiz I sent you and you’ll have a good shot on landing that. OR package wemby and bud with points and go get ross finch from the Jazz. but you need a defining move to edge the talent gap you have from the other 3 teams. Lalalala don’t read this warriors bulls and celtics lalalalalal lol. They are gonna hate me giving you game. But those 3 love me and they’ll get over it.
Jazz @digiskunk - we talk more than people know haha. This is like a secret friendship in the Sim league. You’re a cool quirky guy. But you’re pretty fun to talk to, even though our humor is on complete opposite ends of the spectrum. I need you to get out of tax this season please. Shop Ross please! Let my guy go make a push with someone, he deserves to be competing in the playoffs every season. He’s the most underrated player in this league. Dude is a legitimate 22-11-3blk guy and no one talks about him. He can play the 4 and the 5. He has value, even with that contract. But even if it’s not him, you HAVE to get out of the tax this season and you’re close. You have a few days, let’s talk and figure this out.
Kings @SuperDog - we don’t know each other that well. I wish you were a little more active during the season. You manage to always field a really good team and then just disappear. If you actually gameplanned over the years, you’d be a force man. You’re in the 2nd tier of the Omega conference BUT….. Flip Akins for Blaze and you join those other 4 as a force. Hit up Mamba and figure it out.
Lakers @MexicanMamba - The dust has clearly started to flow immediately. Where do I begin? We’ve known each other for a decade now. You’re my roommate, you’re my friend, my brother forreal! You’ve helped me out in life in more ways than 1. I mean you’re the reason I’m in florida. You’re the reason I’m still in florida. I lost my stepdad a month after moving down here and you helped me get through that and I’ll never forget it. If I was alone down here, there’s no way I would have stayed living here after that experience. You’re so good to me man, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We have a very unique, different friendship and I think that’s a huge part of you just stepping out of your comfort zone for the sake of me. I could write a 3k word article on just you as a person and friend easily. I’ll limit myself to avoid these tears becoming a waterfall. The best human in my life! I love you bro. I know you’re a little turned off of sim league right now, but kings need Blaze. Help them please.
Magic @NY_Magic_Garrett - You’re new and so I don’t know you at all. You’re joining the sim league the right way man. Balls deep, I love how invested you are at learning and playing this game. Keep it up and keep asking questions. Lot of us are here as a resource since your actual mentor is 2 weeks newer than you haha. Welcome to the obsession.
Mavs @LazyTitanSmash - Once upon a time…..nah I won’t go into it. I do think you have one of the most talented teams in the league. Your roster construction just sucks. At some point you have to realize, you DON’T have to win every trade. It’s okay to lose trades. You do it when the need outweighs everything you believe in. Case in point. Xue was first team all nba and 2nd team defense. I traded him this offseason along with 15 points to land Mac. Xue shouldn’t need to be packaged with points to get most players in this league. But my need for a point guard outweighed all of the rest of that. You have to get over this purple obsession and this young player obsession and join the rest of us with the game. Your knowledge is great, you’re basically a veteran just stubborn as hell for no reason.
Nets @RPF - you're alright lol. Your team is crazy this year because how? Few players of talent. 3 guys averaging 20+ is wild no matter who does it. Still think you gotta be more aggro about getting rid of cook. You need to be hitting up the magic before everyone else does. Or your bro down in the rodeo city.

Pacers @PaulyP - I believe you have the longest playoff streak in the league. And it looks like that's going to continue. The herb Jones forever has been cool to see. I'm gonna let the Amos thing slide Pauly…. But it's going to be weird to see what the pacers look like in the future because I've only ever known them to be herb Jones focused
Pelicans @BigDaddyd8720 - Talk about hitting the ground running. What is this your 5th season? Already taking on sim league roles. You’ve started your own tree of referrals as well. This type of involvement has been great. The new blood don’t realize how influential they are to keeping the league going. Without the freshness, I truly think some of the old heads would be ready to hang it up. So if no one else has told you this before then let me be the first to say, Thank you. Now your team? Annoying little runts. You’ve beaten me 2 of 3 times on the season including my only L in Phoenix this year. You too have shown a lot of patience and if not for the Pistons I think you would have had some really good opportunities to cash in on chasing a ship. Instead you’ve gotten the ability to sit back, and try to learn the game while also picking up a job. Good work man.
Pistons @IamQuailman - It’s so funny because people probably assume I hate you. When in fact, I’ve always liked you and we get along in DMs. I do think I’ve lent myself as more of a friend to you and you’ve chosen to just take without giving. But it is what it is. Maybe you’ll finally get around to reading my last Dms to you and respond, maybe not. As for your team, not much to say really. Obviously you should want to be getting rid of hoyt but that’s hard if no one’s buying. And since you’re locked up, you can’t really sell either. You’re in the position I predicted you’d be in when I was told to shut up and dribble. Very easy for people looking from the outside that don’t necessarily understand some of the nuances to this league. Especially those who don't understand it from the perspective of a commissioner who is looking at the league as a whole in its totality. Nonetheless, we are at the end of your reign because I plan on doing everything in my power to end your chokehold on this league this year when I go into Detroit and beat yo A$$(mark henry reference)
Raptors @pennpanther1 - We haven’t necessarily talked game a ton but we’ve engaged in some trade negotiations. Your raptor team over the past few years has been really good, but just never great. I think you truly lacked a point guard to bring that team together. Now you’re in a rebuilding year but you don’t own your pick. Toronto is a fun city I’ve heard, but it’s also cold. And those fans are about to have some cold days ahead of them. I fear you will be in rebuild for some time as it’s not going to start until next year. There’s a chance you can steal some FA’s with cap space but I'm not even sure that should be the goal. With no assets at all, you’re probably at that point where you just cruise for a bit and collect talent for a few seasons. Nothing wrong with that, I think we all need a break from the push.
Rockets - I’m still never going to get over the Aja for Sion trade that you wouldn’t allow to happen. I think it was one of those things where you just weren’t ready to accept that you had to start over. And I tried every possible way to get you to see that. But sometimes we must realize things on our own. Even up until the eleventh hour, you were still not willing to part ways of Sion. It was my pushing on Josh that actually got him to re-engage with you and get the deal done. You had a vice grip on your guy and I understand that for sure. Where does that leave you going forward? Amazing actually. You have the raptors pick and they are bad. You have your own pick, and you are bad. You got Murray from this year’s draft and his fresh contract. So you’re primed and ready to hit this rebuild year strong. Unfortunately I’m not sure where that leaves Falcon who’s entered his prime. It probably means he also has to go for the full youth movement takeover. Whatever you decide, you’re set up to be very good again and soon assuming you draft well. You’ve always been kind to me, so I have no problem rooting for your rise again.
Spurs @Eazy P - Lol, can’t you do anything right? I mean bruh, you were tanking last year and made the finals? That is the craziest thing because when you were trying and building great teams, you couldn’t push through lol. I’m still confused as is most everybody. And now for a 2nd straight year, you want to be bad but can’t lol. Maybe you should go make a trade and try to be good and that’ll make you bad? Idk none of what’s going on in San Antonio makes any sense. But what you pulled off was amazing. It’s great to see you get out of your tax situation as well. My favorite times in the group chat are when you, Ed and I have a full blown culture takeover and everyone else just lets us have it lol.(they probably don’t understand half of the $hit we’re talking about) Good luck on your tank job, or making the finals? Whichever happens.
Timberwolves @tbone963 - Welcome to the league man. You know, I am fully invested in your team. I traded you Benny Bridesmaid on your first day and I regret it every day of my life haha. I watch Benny like a stalker in the bushes. He was my favorite prospect I’ve ever had and now he’s your lifer. I am excited a new GM got to luck out and get a star like him. It makes things much more fun when you have a player who’s awesome that you can attach yourself to. I think you need to try and flip this high pick you’re going to get this year, especially if it’s the first overall. They need to be shipped out someone like the Pistons who are going to be starving for a reset. Pair it in a package with points and try to make some noise next year. Benny and Pee Wee would be amazing together. I think your window of being good is soon and I don’t think that pick will meet that window unless it’s someone who’s ready to play right away like Knecht in Memphis. Normally I’m not for trading high picks but I think with paying clark and benny max money. You need to start making that worth it. They’re not good enough alone to do much. Clark didn’t deserve a max, but it’s water under the bridge now.
Trailblazers @logpmess - Hey buddy. We definitely got off to a rough start some of the first few times we talked. I am passionate and I think that was a bit of a shock for you. I definitely apologize for some of those earlier conversations. I do think we’ve gotten past it though. I’m not sure how your team is this bad with DJ and Quick. Feels weird but hopefully Kofi declines his player option. And don’t you forget to decline Chavez and Rockwell team options. I don’t think there’s any way to save this season this far into it. But maybe try and seek some selling of players like dawes to the magic asap. To avoid the tax if you can. Or to the spurs. Either way, hurry up because I’ve said the same to others and that trade deadline is Wednesday. Tick Tock.

We have fun talking and it brings me joy when I can chat with you. You’re my guy. I’m absolutely going to make it out there to visit you.
