Good morning and welcome to the 69th edition of the San Antonio Spurs preseason presser. It's crazy we have been doing this for 69+ seasons. To start off I will like to thank all of the fans that put up with us for past few seasons of disappointment. Our goal was to bring another championship to San Antonio but we have failed again. This past season I felt like our team was good enough to make a deep run but got ousted again by the Rockets after a long Sim layoff due to node issues. As we turn the page on last season's disappointment we look forward to the upcoming season. We could not make any splashes or moves this season cause we are handicapped by the tax man and limited in what we can do atm. We aren't gonna let that stop us from doing what we need to do on the court. Training Camp was another success. We had Improvements from our core once again and they are looking better than ever. We are not going to put to much into the 6-0 preseason. Being a GM in this league for so long we know that it's fools gold but we could take away a few things from it to use during the season. I wish I had more to say but this off season for the most part has been uneventful here. If there are any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my ability.
Sham Smith, Bulls.com: What is a bigger priority for the Spurs front office? Getting under the tax before next season or winning a championship with your current core before their contracts are up?
Our goal is to win a championship if possible. If I can stop being lazy and do things that will earn enough points to pay the bills, we will be fine as a franchise but if a offer comes up that we can't refuse then we may just look at getting under the tax.

Who is your biggest rival in the division, and why is it the Pistons?
My biggest rival right now is actually the luxury tax. It is keeping me from adding players to the team. The other rivals are the Rockets and Pistons. Two good teams that my team has had problems with for a while now. Hopefully we can try and put together some wins vs these teams and if so we like our chances of representing the conference in the finals.
