Well here we are again. Where have we seen this story before? The Suns gather assets to make a run. We took a year off to reset and refocus. We also eliminated our luxury tax. Allow me to introduce you to the MonSTARS. As the tallest team in the league we are here to attack the rim early and often.
Our starting lineup will feature 3 new guys to go along with returning starters. Newly acquired via trade will be Johnny Davis running the attack point. Think Ja, think Russell Westbrook, think Drose, and that's who Johnny is. A combination of all 3, oh not to forget, he is a defending champ. At the 2 will be the attacking John Lampley who made their way over in FA. Making their return is Mr. Improved himself Maxwell Lewis who is finally at the step of making an impact. Maxwell had a great TC and added some offensive moves inside to help his sniper game. He’s also an elite thief in this league and look for him to be top 10 in steals. MR DOUBLE DOUBLE Ross Finch, finds himself back in Phoenix ready to make a run. We asked Ross to be patient with us last year and we would do right by him and boy did we ever. We gave Ross a legitimate big man to play next to him and he goes by the name of Uncle Phil. Phil Smith was also acquired via trade and will man the inside with Finch. We strongly believe we have 2 of the best big men in the league. And that is going to be a lot for teams to handle night in and night out.
As we talk game plan and strategy. We are obviously going to be attacking a lot. We have a ton of interior scoring. But it’s not just by way of throwing the ball into the post and letting Phil and Ross bully opposing bigs. Johnny and Chris Bow live in the paint. They will be putting a lot of pressure on opposing bigs to help which should put a lot of teams into foul trouble. We look forward to seeing how teams defend this height and aggressive play style. My one question which has been a secret question we’ve had in house for the past 4-5 seasons. Do we have enough defense to stop the other high powered teams? We have an elite shot blocker and an elite steal merchant. Do we have enough team defense to get stops when we need to? That answer will be found out very quick in the first 2 months of the season.
I know some of you are probably wondering, do we have enough depth. My answer to that would be, maybe? We have some very decent depth pieces who specialize in certain aspects of the game. Whether it be C?lestin and his passing, or Chris Lansing and his shooting. Offense wasn’t going to be a factor as we have 4 starters who are more than capable of putting up 20+ every single night, and most nights they will. Anas, Chris, C?lestin/ Dirks. Is that 4 good enough to give us a solid 9 man rotation when it counts here in Season 69?.…giggity…. We believe so, and if the season starts off slow for us, we are not afraid to package 1 huge asset with money to bring in another guy to to deal with some of the firepower the other teams in the league will have. The Omega conference is absolutely loaded and we understand that. So we will not be afraid to deal right at day 60 if we feel ourselves getting behind. We will be patient and let the cohesion work itself out with 3 new starters, but the pistons, spurs, and mavs brought everyone back and we expect all 3 to get off to the races immediately. It’s our time, we believe we can #FinishTheStory
AND NEW Season 69 Sim League Champions….. The PHOENIX SUUUUUUUUUNS.
Sham Smith, Bulls.com: With that #FinishTheStory hashtag, what teams do you see as the Roman Reigns, The Rock, Seth Rollins, etc. to your Cody Rhodes. You may extend the metaphor to as many wrestlers that participated in the WM40 main event as you'd like.

P.S. #AcknowledgeMe
Most definitely NOT acknowledging you. The Spurs are my Roman Reigns. I have faced them more than anyone in the playoffs as a GM of the Suns and I have yet to beat them. They are a team that simply has my number. The pistons are for sure The Rock. They are the final Boss, and unfortunately I may never even get to face them as I am in a loaded conference. My goal is getting the 1 seed and avoiding either the pistons or the spurs as one of them would have to take each other out. Omega is a gauntlet and that's good for a change

How are Johnny and C?lestin getting along? Is C?lestin territorial? Or is he happy to show Johnny around the desert

C?lestin misses the food and has been showing Johnny all the best places to eat in Phoenix.

Nick Melon; Orlando Sentinel: If this team is unable to finish it’s story in this current form, do you foresee a long rebuild with Maxwell Lewis?
Lewis still has room to grow, Finch is in his prime and Phil has 1 year left. I think the goal would be to bring Johnny back and retool as opposed to rebuild
