Josh

No one had to deal with as much injury shenanigans as he did and he's still in prime shape to make a run this postseason. He also ensured his ability to do so by getting out there and being as aggressive as he could be and trading for BI/Jarrett. I don't think anyone would be shocked if he made another finals run now that he's all healthy.

@LazyTitanSmash

Even though Reese is still inactive (saving that redshirt rookie year for a ROY campaign and pts no doubt), LTS has SMASHED the expectations coming into the season. A savvy trade early in the off-season moving up in the draft AND snagging near-triple-double-averaging Jordan Poole in the process. He's otherwise had a young squad together for a few seasons now and let them marinate. As I stated in one of the town halls, he could've tried to dump Jordan Poole to save on cap, but I applaud him for going for it this season and being a surprise leader in the division. Great work man!

Jlmarines - Cleveland Cavaliers

I've had some great battles with the Cavaliers over the past few seasons to earn the last playoff spot in our conference but this season he left me in the dust and has not looked back. The Cavs are a team on the rise with their 2-headed monster in Isaac and Vassell but this past season they made a great trade for Darius Garland that has catapulted them into the upper echelon of the league. Nice job man!

@Mike Lowry

Although not quite as aggressively this year, I consider this more of an honorary nomination for a clear winner last season when we didn't have awards. Mr. Lowry re-wrote the book on getting out of tax jail, and through personal conversations I can tell that he's having more sim league fun than ever.

Trading can be a scary thing for new GMs. Mike isn't 'new,' but he's newer than the old heads, and he put himself in a position where trading was mandatory if he wanted to contend again. So he did just that, and I think a lot of GMs newer than Mike can look back at his trade accomplishments and gain some insight into how you can engage other GMs in the league.
Somehow I manage.

RoboGM1 and RoboGM2 of the Bucks & Wolves. They're both on autopilot and still contenders. They should win it as Co-GM of the Year just for that.

I'll return the favor and say Mamba here. I think his success this season has been more GM based than it was coach based because he finally cashed in all his chips and put together such a strong team, that it'd be nearly impossible to come up with a bad lineup. His move to get Hub was a great improvement and on top of that, he grabbed RHJ in the middle of the season. He's hit another 70+ win season and won the conference for who knows how many times in a row. I think the smartest thing he did was declining the Gradey Dick contract in RFA, too. It's a move most GMs would have not done because of ego or just plain stupidity, but it was the right move, and the fact that Mamba was willing to make it proves his elite status as a GM.

I nominate robo gm1. Without having a human gm they help lead the bucks to the post season. They have a tall task vs the Bulls but with that said robo gm 1 had I successful year.
