Presser rules addendum

Post by greepleairport »

So, we had a couple guys in S65 answer more questions than others, and still got fewer points. I understand this seems dumb, but that's the policy I'm following:

5 points --> A) Post well thought out (more than 2 paragraphs... at least) presser about your team, B) Answer questions in your own presser, and C) Ask questions in at least 3 other pressers.
3 points --> 2 of the 3 listed above.
1 point --> Skimpy presser + asking other questions but not answering questions/answering questions but not asking
0 points --> Don't answer questions, skimpy presser, don't ask questions
I've read this as, unanswered presser questions, you do not get the full 5. But if a team gets 2 questions and answers them, they are still eligible for the full 5.

Thus, I propose the following:

Amend rules such that teams answering more questions than other teams who got fewer questions and still answered all their questions may still be eligible for the full 5 points as referenced in the above rules.

Someone else feel free to clean up that language, I'm in the middle of other shit
Somehow I manage.

This still seems a little ambiguous to me. Where it's very much up to the opinion of whoever is looking at the pressers. Where the person counting the points may have a different opinion of meeting the expectations from the person answering it. I get sometimes you may miss it, but the pressers are being done during a pretty active portion of the league year, and had the deadline extended by Jon, with an expectation to be done before sims 2.

I get you may miss a question here or there, but also it is just one point being deducted in that situation. There are so many ways to gain points in the forum right now, and this rule has been consistent for several real life years, that I think the expectations should stay the same.
