Question #7

Which current yellow player is actually helping their team? Give a quick break down of that player and their contribution.

Russel Coffelt, Grizzlies

He's certainly not the reason the Grizzlies are playing as well as they are this season, but credit has to be given to the starting PG of the team. A 29-year-old rookie, Coffelt is averaging (roughly) 12 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds per game, and is a 2 time rookie of the month this season. His efficiency and shooting leave much to be desired, but he's grinding out playing time and dependable (36 minutes per game, none missed to injury). Good on him for taking the reins.

Teddy Dixon from the Cavs

Sure, it's not a winning team, but the dude is 7th in dimes with 8.3 assists per game and first in steals with 2.7 a contest. He'd be a fantastic backup on a contender, and if any of you <expletive deleted> actually read this, jlmatines would have an inbox full of pms to forget to respond to.

Hans Dean, Sacramento Kings

Superdog has a strange affinity for certain players sometimes and keeps folks on the team longer than the usual GM would. Hans Dean is a direct beneficiary of such treatment. Dean is averaging 25 min a game on the wing and chipping in 8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and some solid perimeter defense. Not too shabby for a team that has overcome some early season injuries to remain in the playoff conversation as we enter the All-Star festivities.

The guy I just traded for, Celesetine Decognitties. Dude is averaging almost a double double for the Bobcats. Hopefully on my team I can get him over the hump and get 10-10. I think with a little TLC, he can also become a very good PG in this league.

Not that anyone cares when someone writes about their own team but

Blaine Myers, GSW

I had a backup PG problem and Myers solved it. Once Jeffery Holt began conclusively playing like an absolute bum, I had to go shopping. Myers plays backup PG much more officially than his g/g counterpart. Fits in with the rest of the team. Serves as a role player, no more no less. He has one job and he gets it done - keep offense afloat while Markus rests. Simple and effective.
Somehow I manage.

Agreed on this one. Was definitely surprised it took someone this long to contact me about trading for him with the stats he’s produced so far this season.

I’ll add in Roland Dodd averaging 7 pts, 4 rebounds as my back up PF. He didn’t do too bad in the one game he started in which he had 12 points, 14 rebounds which isn’t too bad considering he only made 3 shots the entire game but made all 6 free throws.

I think C?lestin Decognitties has been playing amazing for the bobcats. The team themselves aren't very good however he's doing amazing things for only being yellow. 9 assists a game is nothing to sneeze on, especially with the limited talent around him. The team has 3 players averaging double figures around him and no one above 18ppg yet is still averaging 9 assists. Imagine what he would be on a better team. He's likely putting players in the perfect position to make a basket because how else is this happening. on the scoring side of things, the bro should probably stop shooting because it's bad. Just keep passing C?lestin. If there was a skills competition in the sim, he would be in it.

Delmer Bricker has been a great player for the Pelicans this season. He is averaging 17 ppg with 6 assists every night as the starting PG. I think he will win Rookie of the Year and he looks like a franchise player. He has been playing heavy minutes all season, but he has shown up every night as a leader even at such a young age.
