S63 Cavs Preseason Presser

S63 Cavs Preseason Presser

Welcome to the Cavs Preseason Presser. We are pleased to welcome our GM jlmarines.

GM jlmarines: This is our 2nd season in our rebuild process and just when I was getting ready to get the 1st pick of the draft, the Cavs was awarded the 3rd pick. Ridiculous. I bet K100 did a secret deal with Wig to make the Cavs move down on the draft.

GM jlmarines: Our priority was to find talent in the draft that can score. We are please to select Jonathan Isaac. We think Isaac will be a great scorer in his 3rd year. Also we got a steal in the draft in SG Jason Marotta. During TC Marotta potential was upgraded to blue. We expect SG Marotta to eventually replace SG Raphael Gordon in a few seasons.

GM jlmarines: We resigned the soul of the team in SG Gordon. We think SG Gordon has potential to be an all-star this year. SG Gordon is leader of this team.

GM jlmarines: Part of our rebuilding process is SF Baba Miller and PG Ernesto Cruz. Both players are one year away from being our starters and future all-star contenders.

GM jlmarines: We expect to have a long year but we are excited of the potential of our young studs. To help our young studs, during the off-season, we traded for veterans C Loos and signed SF Cunningham. We expect C Loos and SF Cunningham to lead our young squad. We expect few surprises this season. Maybe few upsets.

GM jlmarines: Lastly I have two words for my friends AB and K100. Suck it!

GM jlmarines: Here's our starting lineup for the current moment and subject to change as the season goes:

C Brian Loos
PF John Maskell
SF Cade Cunningham
SG Raphael Gordon
PG Teddy Dizon

How do you feel Cade Cunningham and Raphael Gordon will mesh on the court when the real games start? In preseason they both averaged 24 points per game. Is this a sign of things to come or will there be growing pains as they adjust to each other?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: The Omega conference is pretty wide open this season, and there's not a lot of competition for some of the high playoff seeds and even a division title. With players like Cade Cunningham, Brian Loos, and Raphael Gordon, you have some win now guys alongside some youth in Baba Miller, Jonathan Isaac, Ernesto Cruz, and Jason Marotta.

Are you content straddling the line, or would you like to move one direction or the other? And what events would factor into your decision to do so?

I hope so. It's unfortunate Cunningham became a green player. But overall, he's still a great player. Great hand and passing skills. I think Cunningham will help alot playing next to Gordon. Both players compliment each each very well. Both don't commit alot of turnovers. Hope both players can keep up the same momentum for the entire season.

Thanks for the question.

It's obvious it's 3 vs 1. The league knows all three, are so scare of the Cavs. There's no question every off-season Kings, Celtics, and Grizz have secret meetings and plot ways to beat the Cavs.

We all know why AB and K100 quit on the 76ers and Thunder. Both couldn't handle the Cavs.

But let me make one thing clear. Cavs don't quit. The All American GM jlmarines does not quit on Cleveland. GM jlmarines looks forward competing against all of his three ridiculous loser "friends".

There's no question I want to destroy AB and K100 for the next 10 seasons. I dream, eat, and plot ways to beat those suckers. I'm getting close.

But for right now, I'm focused on my young studs. Train them and develop them to super stars. Hopefully, next season I'll open a can of whoop-ass on AB and K100.

Thanks for the question.

Do you plan to redshirt Cruz, Issac, and Marotta this season?

And Jon Issac was recently spotted at Cavs shootaround practicing 3s with Cunningham, Cruz, and Gordon. Do you see any potential training in his future?

GWR: In the same breath you praised Gordon as the soul of the team and said he was getting replaced. How should he feel about the security of his role on this team?

Hey Friend. Yes I do plan to redshirt all 3. And yes for a PF, Isaac is a great 3pt scorer. I do plan training Isaac on his 3pts shooting.

Next season I do plan to start Cruz and Isaac.

Yes. But that's more long term plans. More like in 3-4 seasons. That will give SG Marotta plenty of time to develop and learn from SG Gordon.

SG Gordon ain't going nowhere. Thanks for the question.

Can't stand my two loser "friends". Raphael Gordon is going to have a monster year. He will be dunking and scoring all day on Celtics and Grizz.

K100 and AB are probably meeting in secret and plotting ways to stop SG Gordon.

We look forward for SG Gordon to have a great year. Thanks for the question.

You like to pick fights with K-100 and AngryBanana who have won the last 2 titles. Do you think you could learn anything from their success that you could apply to your own team?

Both of those guys are not nice at all. Bunch of bullies. Jk. Both are super cool. Both like to spend a lot. I thought about spending, but honestly I don't have the time to try and attempt to pay all my tax bills. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll change my mind and start spending 1 billion dollars.

Thanks for the question.
