Spurs Season 62 Presser

Post by Eazy P »

Hello and welcome to the Spurs presser. We know the fans aren't used to the way things are going right now. We ask that they be patient and trust the process. Last season we tanked and thought we failed because other teams were better at tanking. With our position before the lotto we thought we will be at 8. Once the lotto was complete and we saw where we landed we were happy as a organization. We drafted Pee Wee Kirland with our pick and plan to teach him the spurs way of doing things. We don't plan on tanking forever and will get back to our winning ways. We do plan on red shirting Pee Wee this season but if we for some reason have to play him we will.

Our plans this season is to evaluate everyone on the and see who will be with us on our journey moving forward. We also want the guys to grow together too. We believe the more these guys play together the better they will get over time. We are pleased with how TC went. It shows that guys are working on there craft and improving their overall game. We hope this continues and over time get us back to being contenders. We are excited to watch this team grow.

I know I rambled enough about nothing but if anyone have any questions I will answer as always the best to my ability.

Is this the year you make a big splash, like trading for Mason Dixon?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: How do you plan on lining up Peewee and Ingram's windows so they both line up at their peaks and when do you see that aligning?

Do you find yourself getting bored or frustrated during a rebuilding stage with your team? You havent had to go thru it much during your tenure so how are you coping with it?

Depending on how PeeWee's next couple of TCs. We are hoping he take a great leap with his currents and potentials. We hope in 3 seasons counting this current one, they will be ready to take the league by storm and get this franchise back to competing and winning titles. We have faith in our training staff to get these guys in peak condition.

It's not too bad. I kinda got bored with running it back season after season only to lose in the conference finals. I wanted the challenge of building a team again. Something I haven't done in a long time. I like the challenge tho.
