We, the Milwaukee Bucks, pride ourselves on excellence... on the ability to go all in on a whim. We did that last season. We'd also like to say we were the ONLY team to get a win on the Pistons in the playoffs... probably would've been more if not for losing our star center in Round 1, Game 1. BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS. Pistons sneak away with another asterisk...
BUT I DIGRESS.
The goal this offseason was to make some minor changes and tweaks. So of course that means we do the opposite. We decided to go 2-for-1 in on Darius Garland, shipping him out to the Bulls for Gerald Dixson and once-a-Buck-always-a-Buck Victor Wembanyama. We are really excited to add these two into the fold. We also parted ways with Terrance Lewis-Weeks after he signed a max offer sheet with the Pacers. We were fortunate to negotiate with the Pacers a S&T to get back upstart young wing Malik Osborne and some cash considerations. But then the real doozy came in Free Agency. We had been hot on the pursuit of Kory Manley ever since we traded him away years back to the Magic, but never could work out a deal that best fit both sides. In the end, we threw up a hail mary offer to Kory in which he shockingly agreed prior to our signing back Saddiq. We had to completely pivot our approach to the season at that point (were considering a tax reset). But that's definitely off the table now. We have pinned our ears back and are looking forward to not getting swept by the pistons again in the playoffs... except when we meet this time, it will be in the finals.

Chet Youbetcha Dimmadome News: With your growth, and the pistons regression, do you see yourself as a potential challenger to their throne?
I will not only sit on the throne. I will sit on the Pistons franchise's collective face.

Are you looking to build off of you ONE win vs the pistons? Maybe meet him in the finals for all of the marbles.
There's gonna be some marbles dangling alright.....
Outside of your two stars, your roster is pretty thin. Are you worried this leaves you susceptible to a deeper team in the playoffs, or being able to withstand any injuries?
