#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

Hey guys,
I know that I made an announcement that I was all hyped for the upcoming season, but truth be told, I have way too much going on in my life at the moment... My mother and her sister are both struggling with health, I've been stressing out over returning to work, and struggling with some mental health issues. This is life as normal for me, but lately it has overwhelmed me, and I don't wish to be a burden and mess up the league.

I know you guys are pretty pissed at me, and understandably so. I'm hoping that, once I get my life back in a more productive situation, I will return. I love this league and you guys a lot—don't get that wrong.

I WILL BE BACK. Keep an eye out for next season

In the meantime, I will continue to revisit the forum whenever I can. I'll be checking in

Thank you! I feel so terrible about what I did—I felt like I abandoned y'all, which was not my intention in the slightest. Doug, you know I wouldn't normally do that... You guys deserve so much better. I've just been caught up with so much; even when life seems stable, something else comes up. I even had plans to completely rebuild the team (again) to get out of debt (lmao) this season. Hopefully when I return next season, I'll be a contender

Thank you! My plan is to just get sh*t sorted as quickly as possible, and return for next season. In the meantime I hope to drop by and contribute with some HoopsHype RUMORS

We haven't corresponded really Gary but I (Jon) can understand the stress of mental health issues, not to mention on top of everything else you have going on. I hope you get through all of this okay and look forward to your return!

Hope everything works out, Gary. Take the time you need to get you right in these crazy times first and foremost and I hope your family’s health can be better in short order As well.

We’ll miss you and hopefully you can return reenergized and refocused to lead the Jazz back into title contention.
