We usually stand by the idea that you don't need to go deep in the tax to win a title, but this season the top 6 title contenders also have the top 6 highest salary totals. So:

-Are there any teams outside of those 6 who you could see making it to the Finals? Why?

-Which of those 6 do you think made a mistake diving into the tax and will later come to regret it?

-Do you think this is just another short-term spike in heavy-spending teams, or could this continue?

Also:

-What use, if any, do you get out of preseason results?

-Three years in, do you think contraction has largely increased the number of reasonable contracts in the league? If so, do you see that trend continuing?

League contraction was a large undertaking, but as soon as it was done interest resumed. Is the interest large enough to justify sustainable expansion? What are the terms for growing and shrinking the league?

Los Angeles at large went all in cap wise and went down the hardest in TC (two of four teams with net negative results). What cap risks are you willing to take when considering results like this?

When will the Suns tank in TC, or at least take the number 2 slot?

Favorite and most questionable off season moves?

We are now at the midpoint for gman's article, Which GM Will Lose His Championship Virginity First? and so far the championless GMs are 0/4, despite several deep postseason runs by many of the GMs mentioned above.
  • If you had to predict the rest of the 2030s right now will someone pop their Championship cherry before 2040 or is the champions' circle a members only club and not accepting new applications?
Draft weekend featured over a dozen trades, many of which saw the most elite players in PBSL change addresses. What did you think of all the trade activity? Has PBSL ever seen such a prolific trade day before? Any favorites from the bunch?

If the league were to expand to 28 or 30 teams - how would an expansion draft work?

Do you think league contraction has affected the trade market? If so, has it become more beneficial to be a buyer or a seller?

This was probably asked last time, so I guess it's just an update/review: Best show/movie you've watched since the last time you were asked about this during quarantine.

Also: worst show/movie.

Any beer recommendations?

Your favorite pizza toppings? Favorite pizza place to eat at?

Ninja Turtles or Power Rangers?

Most memorable Christmas gift you received as a kid?

I'm interested in a discussion on the relaunch of the NBA season. From what I see from the groupchat, I have a very different opinion on it than most. How do you guys feel about it? Happy to see basketball return even in the strange format or would you rather go without and start again in the fall?
