Knicks Preseason Presser

Welcome to another great season of Knicks basketball. We've got a monster brewing here. We brought in Glenn Irvine to add to our core of Richard Kowalczyk, James Barton, and Stephen Wright. The Core Four as well as the rest of the players here, who actually want to be here unlike Swan Lake in New Orleans, are going to be making a statement this season. That said our division is legit. In my opinion every team in the division is a playoff contender as much as I hate to say it but at the same time none of them are from the Big Apple. This is going to be the season we turn things around and make an impact. I like every player we've brought in and I feel that we have a solid rotation from start to finish. Lots of depth which is how we built our contender teams a few season back. This is going to be a great season of Knicks basketball that I hope the fans enjoy. Expect big things from this team.

Are there plans to offer Wright a supermax after this season?

GWR: Stephen Wright is entering the last year of his deal and has been a Knick his entire career. How important is it to keep him in New York?

(I mistakenly asked this in the presser from last season, so I'm not stealing your question Mike)

Odell Raspberry looks a little raw for your ambitions. Is there any chance you look to move him and speed up the rebuild?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: Who should we expect to see as your starting 5 this year?

The preseason campaign wasn’t much of a success. Can we expect you to get more hands on with the gameplan to get better results?
