OKC Presser for a whole new world

Good morning all, I hope you all had a great off-season! Mine was interesting to say the least after last season. I apologize for having to do this press conference as a teleconference, however I am in Virginia doing some scouting, we are currently on a lunch break so I only have a few minutes and I will only be able to cover so much.
First, we went into last season very confident. I think that last year was the first year of a realization of what I wanted this team's makeup to be. Pete was finally firing on all cylinders and we had Clifton, Nate on our roster while also retaining both Eckbert and Vincente. While it might have not been sustainable, I wanted to know how it would work out so I pulled the trigger. We played very well in the season and I really thought we were going to pull off the division, but Miami was just a very well built team. We then went into the playoffs, hobbled with Clifton hurt, but still had a good showing and almost beat the one seed. I am very proud of our players last season and I want every to know that nothing will diminish that.
Moving into this season, with the impeding training I had to take part in, I knew I could not keep this expensive nucleus together. I then had to prioritize who I thought would be more valuable to my team, not necessarily who the best player was. So we decided to go heavy on guards in the FA pool and retained Nate. That however cost me Clifton and Nick, who I wish all the luck to with their new teams. I do think that we will be a force this year and will contend for both division and conference with another good season from my key players. Starters will be Pete, Basil, Vincent, Nate and Eckbert.
