Award Voting Coordinator

INCUMBENT: Darth Vegito
COMPENSATION: 5 POINTS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Set up the respective threads for policy and procedure, campaigning (Most Improved Player, General Manager of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year, and Media Entry of the Year), and the results
-Field votes/ballots from GMs via PM and tabulate results
-Post threads in a timely manner (between sims 10 and 11 seems like an ideal time for campaigning to start)
-Award points for winners (5 for General Manager and Media Entry, 2 for Most Improved Player and 6MOY)

You are encouraged to provide the platform on which you intend to run (i.e. what you plan to do with the position and why we should vote for you). Our esteemed commissioner provides coordinators with a high level of autonomy. As such, the league has a right to know what they should expect when voting for you. Nominations will be accepted until the end of the playoffs.

Since these nominations have been quiet, I'm going to step in and nominate myself as emergency Season Awards Voting coordinator.

In the event that someone else wants this, I withdraw my nomination since I've already volunteered for another position.

BUT, if nobody else takes this, I will...

1. Complete last season's award duties if they have not been completed.

2. Add King of Memes to the season awards. Since memes have become such an active part, let's recognize who's putting the highest QUALITY of memes up (not quantity, or that's just more free points for Andy). It'll be 2 points.

3. Experiment with incentivizing nominations, modeled after the Hall of Fame nomination (1 point for nominating, 1 point if your nominee wins) with a cap of 1 nomination per award and no self-nominations. Will take feedback into account before implementation (and if I'm doing last season's award duties, those will be done the same as they have been).

Thank you for stepping up. I like 1 and 2. I think there could be something to 3 with some tinkering.
