Lotto has rolled and though most teams stayed put, a team has jumped multiple spots for the coveted top 3 spot.

I am being told the Raptors are more bbc.co than happy with Billups development, and won't even entertain or look at a winning teams offer.

Anthony johnson's agent says he's a top tier pg in the league, and the first team to offer a max will get him on the spot. Still waiting though

Surprisingly there isnt a lot of interest being shown in Alvin Williams. It wouldnt be surprising if Antonio Daniels received more max offers than Williams received in total bids!

My source tells me a team that recently submitted their bids have won a big man by grossly overpaying him. I think this player is a "lock" to go to said team.

After having a very quiet day, Bobby Jackson has suddenly become a hot commodity overnight and has bids locked into place for high value multi-year deals. Teams are falling in love with his 3 point shot and quickness as a PG.

We have reached out to Allan Houston to get his opinion on how round 1 od UFA is going for him.

"Honestly, it has been very quiet for me lately. Maybe in round 2 after teams miss on their initial targets I can get the offers I know I deserve."

Of course big money has been thrown out to Mourning, but fellow C Shawn Bradlet has received multiple max bids. This will be interesting.

Key players in Lakers winning seasons, Vin Baker and Bruce Bowen, have gotten a lot of love from the league. Lakers are hopeful their bids are competitive enough and their FAs show loyalty.
