2001 Proposition #8: Allow Trade of Re-Signed RFA

Allow Trading of RFA that You Re-Sign:
"Currently, if you exercise RFA rights on a player, you are prohibited from trading him for an entire season.
I suggest that if the team holding the player's RFA rights also 'wins the bid' in RFA (i.e., the player was with your team last year and chooses to sign with you so you are not forced to match/decline/accept) you should be able to trade him as any other Free Agent."
Do Not Allow Trading of RFA that you Re-Sign:
"No thanks. RFA was implemented to help protect teams from losing their young talent and giving them a fighting chance against the game's AI. It wasnt implemented to make sure you get a assets for all the talent. This could just mean everyone 5 year maxes most their players and moves them right away. Feel the same way, if you dont want him, let him go. Hard pass on this one."
