5 Trades we want to see

I have compiled a list of 5 potential trades that would spice the league up. I've tried to find guys that are on the block or don't really fit their teams plans based off of that team's record. With that :

Bulls | Lakers
Russell Westbrook

for

Tristan Bosworth
Hyman Low
Lakers 2023 First

The Deal:
The Bulls time has come and gone and Westbrook is still a pretty good player on a great deal for his production. The Lakers are on the rise (finally). With the Kings unfortunate injury, the iron is hot and it's time to strike. Westbrook is 34, so getting what he was worth 78 years ago isn't going to happen, but the Lakers have a bevy of younger guys that can be flipped as well as their picks. In this deal, the Bulls don't get a foundation piece, but they get a young guy in Bosworth they can flip for another first, and a former top 10 pick from 2 seasons ago, who doesn't show a ton of promise, but is 'ok'. Essentially with Bosworth being flipped for a first, and the lakers first you get 2 first round picks for a 34 year old guy. I'd say that's uncomfortably fair.

Nets | Wolves

Buddy Pedroza

for

Rudy Gobert
2023 First
2025 First
10 Points

The Deal: This is a big deal. Pedroza has held down the Nets for what seems like decades. The Wolves are out there with Wiggins and on the fringe of being in contention. With Pedroza, the Wolves become instant contenders in the West and have the Wolves with maybe the best 2 player combo in the league. Do the Nets get the youngt star they covet back for Buddy? No, but there has to be a coming to terms here. Pedroza is now 29. the nets are 4th in their division, and netting two first along with another big they can flip is near about as good as they're going to get. The thing is, they dont have to move him. I'm not sure if we see Buddy leave the Nets outside of free agency due to the GMs nature of not making a ton of moves.

Cavs | Bucks
Thomas Robinson

For

Jared Stepp
2025 Grizzlies 1st

The Deal: Not much to be said here. Cavs suck and are bascially on life support, Bucks are trying to repeat. Send a first for a guy who can start for you now. Why not? I'll tell you why, the Bucks GM loves picks more than stars. He has an infatuation of what might be, more than what is (in the league). I doubt we see it, but it's a no brainer.

Hakws | Kings
Tyreke Evans

for

Ja'Vonte Smart
Cristopher Lemke
Ty Lawson
2023 Kings Pick

The Deal: I just want to send my condolences to one of my 5 league pass teams: The Kings. Losing Duren for that long is heart breaking, and if the Pacific had a pulse, you'd see the sharks circling right now because there's blood in the water. Fortunately, the Kings are in a mostly asleep division. Duren's injury does pose some iussues though. They're a very real contender when healthy, but they're not so overwhelmingly a favorite they can do nothing and lose seeding while he's out. That's why i think this deal works. Although Evans isnt what he used to be, hes still a very versitile guy who can score, pass, defend and rebound a bit. Sound familiar? that's because that's what Duren does. Sure he's like a carbon copy of the carbvon cop of Duren, but he's plug and play for the Kings here. The Hawks are playing him 5 MPG so getting a first for him to turn into the leagues next great player due to his "luck" in TCseems like a win as well. Who knows though, when you can just sign 23 year old blues for free why make any moves?

Mavs | Pistons
Hasaan Whiteside

for

Brian Stark
Iman Shumart
2025 Pistons first
5 Points

The Deal: This is the deal that's probably the toughest to swallow. The Pistons have shown a lot nof weakness this year, which isnt something the league has seen recently. Davcis looks like just a demi-god instead of full God. I think the right move here is to give him some help down-low and bvoost the team's over-all talent level. With Whiteside, any team with bigs as their primary source of scoring, is in big trouble. If you rely on rebounding to win games, you're in big trouble as well. Do the Pistons lose some scoring punch? Yes, but that probably just means more shots for Davis, which is a big win. For the Mavs, they get a first and some points. About all you'll get for a half season rental of a 30+ guy.

Please feel free to discuss guys!
