Tick-tock tick-tock
Is our time here yetIs our time here yet I don’t knowIs our time here yet? I don’t know, only time can tell. One thing I can tell you is our time is coming. It’s coming for you all. there is no avoiding it. There is no running away from it. It is always catching up with you. And No matter how fast you can travel it will always be there waiting for you. Is it our turn to ride the wave?
ThatThat question depends on a lot of things. The most pressing dependency is whether or not King Joffrey is ready to make the leap. He has always had promise, and hopefully now is the time to turn that promise into production. If preseason is any indication then, yes, it is.
I fear preseason may have gotten my hopes up too much but I really did like what I’ve seen of this team. King Joffrey looked outstanding. Kristaps Porzingis looked nearly unstoppable. Our first overall pick Björn Ironside did not look like a rookie. Especially a rookie that just turned 18 years old. Ramsay Bolton may not have a place in the starting lineup right now but will provide plenty of firepower off the bench. And we may have a few surprises coming along that nobody expected. I’m not sure what the future holds but I do know we are the future.
Any questions?

Getting the #1 overall pick was what the city or Toronto need. Do you plan on playing him this season or will you red shirt him?

Why would I deprive the league of his greatness? He is more ready than I expected.

With Bjorn looking developed enough to play, will be potentially see LaVine get more playing time at PG? Also, it has to be exciting to see the preseason numbers Joffrey put up. It's still preseason, but to show the capability of the stat line has to be promising for a PG barely scratching his potential.

If you had to pick one, what is the most important single attribute or skill of any lone player on your team? For instance Joffrey's quickness, or Kristaps' strength, etc................ Just one.

LaVine is starting the season at SF. Hopefully he can log some minutes at PG too. Joffrey is and for the foreseeable future will be our starting PG. I am extremely excited about his preseason. Hopefully he finally made that leap. I feel I can finally start moving this team forward.

How desperately are you trying to find a taker on Kawhi's contract?

Right now it's close between Joffrey's passing and Kristaps' Quickness. Being able to have a 7ft monster at PF is really nice but Joffrey's passing is gonna be the driving force of this team.
That's just for now. Soon Ironside's jumping will be one of the most impressive attributes in the entire league.

Would be nice, but I've never been overly desperate to get rid of problems of my own making. It's the bed I made and I will lay in it.
