Hello I like to welcome Everyone to the San Antonio Spurs Preseason Presser. We don't have any sponsors this season cause companies don't want to deal with a us at the moment. So with that said I thank you guys for joining us this year. To Start off this presser I would like to Apologize to the fans for a horrible season. Missing the playoffs and entering the Lottery without our pick Via DJ trade. I will like to say we will be back soon. Sooner than you think. We are going to get back to being the Spurs you've grown to love. I know it will be A little frustrating at times. We have some guys here who are going to play hard and do their best and leave it all out there on the floor. We ask that you be patient with us as you have been in the past and we wont disappoint you guys.

If there's any question you guys will like to ask me I'll try and answer to the best of my ability. Thank you again for joining us here for the Spurs Preseason Presser

With no mention of Paul George, is it safe to say that he won't be a Spur for very long?

There's been photographs of shipments of moonpies coming from Brooklyn. Is there some deal in the works that is circumventing cap rules?

On your last championship team, you had two key players: Russell Westbrook and Josh Smith. Are you looking for a player similar to one of those to build around? And if so, which one?

With an extremely weak division, is there any chance you tool around PG and make a run?

I can't say that he will or will not be a Spur but I have been getting a lot of offers from GMs interested in his services. Judging from the way the current roster look I can see why I am and will continue to get and listen to offers. To answer your question as of "Now" he is a Spur. We will also talk to Paul to see where his head at. Anything can happen.

We have had some talks about PG and Yeah I did receive a shipment of 12 Moonpies for George's services in return to try to and I quote "sweeten" the deal. While Moonpies are good it's going to take more than 12 of them to get Paul George. I just realize Nets seeing this statement may not be good. He might send another dozen to our team offices thinking my "it's going to take more than 12 of them" statement means to send more than 12 moonpies.

Yes I do want to bring in similar players and if I can pick 1 it would be Josh Smith. In the past I've had similar players who can play multiple positions. One that comes to mind is Big Dog Glenn Robinson. He and Smith are similar in that they could Play the 1-4 position with no problem. If I can find a player like those two I would be a happy camper. Players like that are rare tho.

There's a small chance I can make a few moves to around PG to compete. It depends on how the 1st few sims go TBH. If I feel like I can make a run I may take that chance. With the way the west is looking there maybe a few teams make the post season with losing records.

Phone lines probably were tied up. Only thing I Ask you to do is take the WWDD (What Would Doug Do) approach. When he need to get in touch with a GM he would use

Facebook
Gmail
IG
Tender
Kodi
Snapchat
Farmers Only
Yahoo
Facebook Messenger
MySpace

To get in touch with GMs
