Good morning and welcome to the 1991 Draft Lottery Show! All good things must come to an end, and the NBA 1990-91 season was definitely a good one! I would personally like to thank all of our organizations in the NBA for their active involvement throughout this past season, and look forward to continuing it into the future. Speaking of the future, the potential future direction of 13 anxious teams hangs in the balance tonight as a new chapter begins for the NBA here in New York City!
Before we get to the lottery, let's review the Draft Order as it stands today based off records, standings and tie-breakers. This is NOT the official draft order; this COULD potentially change.
#1 - Houston Rockets
#2 - Miami Heat
#3 - Seattle Supersonics
#4 - San Antonio Spurs
#5 - Chicago Bulls
#6 - Los Angeles Lakers
#7 - Detroit Pistons
#8 - Los Angeles Clippers
#9 - VanMemphis Grizzlies
#10 - Washington Wizards
#11 - Philadelphia 76ers
#12 - Orlando Magic
#13 - Toronto Raptors
Teams will be anxiously awaiting the turnout of the lottery, hoping that they were fortunate enough to have the lucky combination and secure a top pick... And with that top pick we have some great talent available. Let's take a look at some of the top prospects in this draft.
What's that? Commercial Break? Sorry folks, looks like we will reconvene this shortly after this commercial break (10am).
