It is with deep sadness that I have to step down as the GM of the Lakers. I’ll have to come back and type up something more eloquent, but I hate to leave this dragging any further. With school and work and my son, I just can’t find enough time to be effective. I’ll be around but I can’t drag another franchise down.
I’ll be on to collect and pay my tax, but please start the search for the next guy up. I appreciate this group and I’ll be around.

Tray, good luck with the rest of your schooling. No one can match the activity you had in the league when you had the pistons. And I selfishly hope you come back at a later time if you get that urge.
Again, good luck with work and school!

You're one of the good ones. I hope one day you can come back with plenty of interest and effort. Your days in Detroit were part of what made the league great.

I miss the days of the old Pistons-Celtics rivalry. I would send you off with a cheap shot, but I'll save them all for when you return. Wish ya the best.
