2018 Nuggets Pre-Season Presser

Alright, Alright, Alright. Settle down. We have a lot to cover. First of all, the reports that came out this morning are indeed true. I intended to step down as part of the regime change, but it seems that I JUST CANT QUIT YOU.
Last season was miserable, we took a voluntary step back by trading Hunter for tax relief to get under the cap in preparation for a spending spree in the next couple of seasons. Due to league rules, we were forced to make a signing in a playoff series we had no business being in due to an injury. So..um..things did not go as planned.
This year, thanks to our retained core, the free agent market certainly took note and several key pieces came to Denver that we really feel compliment our core. Kyle Singler joins former Nuggets Michael Beasley, Luol Deng, and Kendrick Perkins to create a formidable supporting cast to Darren Collison, Jrue Holiday, and Klay Thompson. We also drafted rookie James McCormick with our 1st round pick, and we're really excited about the kind of player he can become. if nothing else, we have the makings of the next generation of Denver Nuggets in the form of him and Buddy Hield.
First things first, we're going to run, and we're going to shoot an avalanche of 3 pointers. Some nights, we'll certainly shoot ourselves out of games, but instead of trying to compliment our deficiency of getting to the free throw line, we're embracing it. Basically, if you can't go through the wall, go around it. If that doesn't work, we'll re-evaluate and possible once again pursue an avenue to get under the tax threshold, but we feel our team is as good as any other in the conference and we like our chances in 7 games against anyone in the west.
I'll now respond to your questions...
