#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

I'll admit that I wasn't around when this was implemented, so there may be reasons behind it I don't understand, but with points seemingly becoming more important (tax) and also less valuable PER point (market inflation), can we do away with this and/or modify the 10 point restriction to say 25?

I was just musing on how many points Klay would be worth straight-up. I don't necessarily see a huge reason why there IS a 10-point limit except to protect newbies from getting really traped, but I don't think that's as much a concern with the group of GMs we have, and it's not like getting traped on points is going to worse than getting traped for players.

Anyway, just a suggestion. Curious to hear thoughts...

Teams buying an entire contending team with only points(Hawks,Suns)....nah I'm good.

How would that happen? Like - it's not like teams are just gonna give away their players for 20 points...I was thinking I'd probably trade Klay for 150, but I don't know that those teams would do that, because then those points are GONE. Make sense?

I agree.

I definitely don’t think it should be removed entirely. You can send cash considerations in the nba up to a set amount. There’s no reason a team like the suns should have another advantage bc they lucked out into a op who is in turn a cash cow for them. Maybe 15-20 points could be nice ?
