Hawks send 10 points.
Suns accept.
I see the iron bank is insistent on growing it’s liquid assets. This seems to be a very premature move by the suns. With Kevin love it makes all the sense in the world, but now Wig is able to essentially play the lotto here. If love signs elsewhere he wins. If not he still gets a draft pick.

Not a lot to hate about this trade. Ellinger is a flawed player with serious upside, Harden is pretty much what Ellinger will end up being (maybe a little better). The magic give up a top 10 pick as well which seems fair enough. Now we get to see what a gm who’s had a historically bad record (by design) can do with talent.

Jazz 2018 1st
Magic receive:

Oh boy. This is a bad one, sit down. Let's just go ahead and give credit where it's due. False9 pulled off an old fashioned trape. Sending over #2 and #5 for George who's a top 5 talent in out league. Not only is he a top 5 talent but he's just 27. the falure here isn't the decision to trade George, even though I disagree with it. It was the ability to get anything of real value outside of their own pick who they've made valuable by trading George in the first place. This pick had little value before this deal. When we look at the Harden trade you see Wig gaining Ellinger in the deal along with a pick to give up a star. Now we're talking about a superstar and all we have are picks. If this were for Wilmer Pak who who was the clear 31 guy this year with a drool worthy skill-set we'd all get it. Instead they get a guy thats's a carbon copy of a carbon copy of George instead in Emilien Lorfeuve. I think an ideal deal would have had to include Desantis/ #2 and the Jazz pick here. This is perplexing, but i'm sure they'll recover. This really stems back from the bad trade when they moved Ricky Rubio a few years pack and left this franchise as George and no one.

Spurs Receive:
•2018 Thunder 1st
•3 points
Wizards Receive:
•Julius Randle
I think this is a solid deal for both. Wizards get another big as per "the plan" and Spurs get some points and another guy to bring through their training system.

I accept. Glad we could get something done man, good luck!
I'm a big fan of MCW, so i'll get the bias out of the way. He rebounds/ defends/ and scores a bit. Now that the Good is out of the way, here's the bad. He can't shoot and he's an average at best passer for the PG spot. I love this deal for the Wizards in terms of only sending 5 points. I hate it in terms of fit. They now have two PGs that can't play PG and are better fits at the 1. For RPF, I originally didn't love it, because sliding MCW into the 2 spot w Medina at the 1 seemed natural. But with his extra money, he won Tyreke Evans from a singy Magic owner who didn't want to pay the 5 year max. Overall, I see the Nets as the winner here, but overall it was fair.
