Non Binding Poll For Funsies

Just curious whether y'all think the commish should be able to not put up polls unilaterally. I think that all reasonably long suggestion threads should be turned into polls. If the Commissioner wants to weigh in or say THIS IS A BAD IDEA or whatever, that still flies.
And since I'm not the commish, this poll is obviously non-binding, I'm just curious. I can see pros and cons of both sides.
