Last year in his second season, Andrew Wiggins took a step back. His minutes decreased, he came off the bench, and he largely posted the same stats as he did in his rookie year.
2015 Wiggins: 31.7mpg, 14.1ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.8apg, 46/71/32 shooting splits for a .536 TS% and a 13.2 PER
This season, with Steph Curry gone, Wiggins was given the chance to prove he could be a valuable member of the team, and prove it he did. Though admittedly he had 4 minutes more per game, the increase in both scoring and efficiency was remarkable.
2016 Wiggins: 35.7mpg, 21.5ppg (!!!), 5.1rpg, 2.6apg, 50/73/33 shooting splits for a .575 TS% and a 18.1 PER
In his third year, Wiggins became the trusted second option for a team that finished 3rd in the Western Conference. He played all 82 games for a third straight year and showed that he is on the track to superstardom. Plus the computer selected him as MIP and the computer is super smart. Please consider Andrew Wiggins when you vote for Most Improved Player.

I would like to formally nominate Buddy Pedraza for the 2016-2017 Most Improved Player award. In only his second year in the league he is now the face of the franchise. Also he leads the league in jersey sales. Lets take a closer look.
2015
- 32.7 minutes per game - 19.2 points per game - 6.4 rebounds per game - 1.32 assist/turnover ratio
2016
- 37 minutes per game - 24.8 points per game - 7.6 rebounds per game - 1.42 assist/turnover ratio
