#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

Welcome to the Barclays Center for this years media day. I know you haven't had one of these in a while, so I just ask for your patience while we work the kinks out. Before we go any further we would to congratulate the New Orleans Pelicans and GM Nick Malone on winning their first championship.

Since we didn't have media day last year we would like to talk about the 7th pick overall of last years draft, #43 Buddy Pedraza. He came into the league focused and ready to put in the work to be Rookie of the Year. While he eventually fell short of that goal, he sure did impress us around here. He continued that same approach this off season and is ready to put the league on notice. Buddy Time is fast approaching.

In this years draft we couldn't stand still and let the best pg prospect get away from us, so we made a trade with the Warriors to select F. Cole Medina. While he has a ways to go, we are confident that he will put in the necessary work to improve his game and become part of the young core here in Brooklyn.

We also worked out a sign and trade with the Bulls to bring Danilo Gallinari here. We hope he provides us with the scoring punch from the sall forward position to open up the post for Buddy Ball. He is one of the more efficient scorers in the league, so when we saw he was available we decided he would look great in a Nets uniform.

With all that being said, I'm quite tired of typing and so with that I will open the floor to questions. Also InnerGI I demand my 5 points dammit.

What are the expectations this year? Playoffs?

Sham Smith, Bulls.com: With Michael Carter-Williams looking fairly improved coming out of training camp for the final year of his rookie contract, what role do you have in mind for him this season and beyond?

Good question False9, love the name btw, the goal this year is playoffs but more importantly see growth in our young players.

His role this season is one that's easily identifiable with every team, playing out of his mind in a contract year son of a bitch.

While we are very happy about our training camp, i don't think even we can match his "excitement".

You paid solid money for Delonte West when a lot of observers thought he was washed up. What kind of a role do you expect him to have for your team this season?
