BSH Mock Draft Pre Lotto

Team | Projected Pick | BSH Pick
1 Bobcats Kenneth Henderson PF Matt Peck SF
The Bobcats could take Kenneth Henderson here and I don't think anyone would fault them, but I think Peck is a highly versatile guy that Darth wants to lay a foundation around. He plays both sides of the ball and is 50 points in trainings from being able to rebound on both ends as well. Peck is a good-great athlete and is the most ready to light it up now. If he's looking for something to excite him after a boring 7 win season, the Pecker will be the man!
2 Magic James Pearsall PF Kenneth Henderson PF
Magic need a lot of time for their guys to build to become contenders, so why not take the biggest project with the biggest upside in the draft. Henderson can play the 4 or 5 for the Magic as Saric is very versatile. With 2 passers on board in Saric and Ellinger, they need a guy who can score and rebound; and Henderson is that guy
3 Warriors Hernando Medina PG Vernon Desantis C
Can Easily see the Warriors adding 3 Centers to their lineup as they are trying to prove they're the smartest in the room. Medina is the best fit, but I can see Bow wanting to move on from Jordan here and just trading him for some guard wing depth.
4 76ers Vernon Desantis C Ty Davis PG/SG
Ty Davis is a versatile guy who can play both the 1 and 2 with his scoring and passing ability. He's best suited to come off the bench do to his below average size lack of defense and ball handling. Davis though is a near elite level athlete and could be a near perennial 6th man of the year, as long as some voters don't discounting him for playing too many minutes.
5 Celtics Melvin McCall SG Melvin McCall SG
Medina has the talent, but he's not worth it because of fit. McCall has holes in game but he can score and defend and could be a good pairing with All world PG John Wall. A few trainings and Wall McCall could be your next Irish bar in Boston.
6 Nets Damien Jeske PF Hernando Medina PG
Medina could be picked anywhere from 3-6 and there's a lot to like about him. I'm sure the Nets would be enamorured with him , as he's a good passer, elite defender, can rebound and can score in bits. He'd be a solid foundational piece for the Nets.
7 Kings Trailblazers Matt Peck SF James Pearsall PF
Pearsall is projected #2 by the computer for good reason. I could see the Celts grabbing him over McCall because he's a pretty good athlete and does everything you'd want a PF to do. Unless it's shoot. He should never shoot. On the Kings though he could give GM Nola a lot of leverage with Nerleans Noel during RFA. If someone overpays for him, Nola can coax him into giving up a first for a guy he would have never signed to begin with and have a guy near as good waiting to take over for cheaper.
8 Bobcats Lakers Ronald Rinker SG Ronald Rinker SG
If the Bobcats take Peck, they can also take 2 way guard Rinker here at 8. Their foundational pieces in McNary, Peck and Rinker would be strong 2 way players who can shoot and they can fill the remaining 2 positions with specialist when it's time which is a lot easier to find.
9 Pistons Ty Davis SG James Heise SG
Pistons need guards. Heise is the only guard worth a shit left on the board. Analysis over.
10 Magic Mavericks Norman Sullivan C Damien Jeske PF
If Jeske could rebound he'd be about 4 spots up. With the Magic taking Henderson a few spots up, I think they get a really great 6th man guy in Jeske. Some investment into rebounding would be good, but he can score and defend off the bench, and as a 6th man that's a huge boon.
11 Cavaliers James Heise SG Tomas Bedard C
If the Chris Paul era is still in tact, what better pick and the most nba ready big in the draft. Bedard is ready to grab boards and be an offensive threat but can't play a lick of defense. He's best suited for the bench for the Cavs and eventually a rebuilding player.
12 Magic Grizzlies Jason Biggs PF Norman Sullivan C
7' men don't grow on trees, so when the Magic see 7'2 Sully on the board they jump. He and Jeske will be handed a broken pool stick from their GM and he will let the strongest survive.
13 Bucks Thunder Thomas Bedard PF Jason Biggs PF
He's talent color is green. Just an asset for the Bucks to fleece a poor unsuspecting n00b.
14 Rockets Jonathan Raab PF Jason Biggs PF Russell Gomez
Having B handling got a guy drafted #1 overall 2 seasons ago. this year? 14. While he doesn't have the upside of Brokic, he is a carbon copy of a carbon copy of him and can provide some help on the bench for the Rockets.
