It's OK Jimmy, Don't Kawhi

Hey everyone! Windy here, I know it’s been a long time but Bron stopped paying the rent on the condo I where I was staying in Miami so here I am. But don’t think I’m coming empty handed. I have a huge story that has been confirmed from several unnamed sources.
It revolves around Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler. As we all know these guys are super close. They were drafted just 3 picks apart in the 2011 draft by Memphis and have been inseparable since. Well let’s just say that things are nowhere close to what they seem to be in Memphis. The organization has been trying to keep this under wraps and they’ve done a great job of it until now. A source very, very close to Kawhi Leonard is telling me that Kawhi has asked the team to be traded as soon as the season is over. This was confirmed by multiple sources and they all had the same story. The relationship between Kawhi and Jimmy is unrepairable and Kawhi wants out.
I’m told that ever since they were drafted together that Kawhi has always got the feeling that the franchise prefered Jimmy and that if they had to make a choice they’d choose Jimmy. Kawhi also has knoweledge that the front office and GM Loco89 has consulted with Jimmy on multiple occasions involving possible trades and free agent signings, and even on a few occasions discussed actually trading Kawhi. Kawhi feels completely betrayed by someone whom he thought was his best friend. He wants to be a part of an organization that wants him and will build around him. He sees himself as a superstar in the making and wants to be the center of a franchise. A franchise he can call his own.
He is also sick and tired of the inconsistency that is the Grizzlies front office. Kawhi claims that he was promised by the GM that the Grizzlies would do everything in their power to contend every year. He feels that the team is always in a state of disarray never knowing which hand is the left and which is the right. Kawhi also said the following: “For that one day when I was signed by Golden State in RFA, I felt free and liberated. I knew Memphis would match but I dreamed about going play in Golden State and being wanted and loved by the franchise and their great fan base. I prayed that Memphis would for some reason miss the deadline, maybe the power would go out in the building and they would have no way to contact the commish. I know that sounds crazy but that’s what I wanted.”
Kawhi informed Loco89 and gave him a list of teams that he would like to go play for. The list included these teams: the Charlotte Bobcats, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Golden State Warriors. He chose those teams due to the fresh start and rebuilding nature of the teams and the championship experience that those GMs bring to the table. He wants to be a part of something big and wants to prove himself to the league. Unfortunately for him, he did just sign a fully guaranteed 4 year deal so he is stuck unless the Griz decide to grant his wishes. As of right now I’m being told that they are going to let this thing simmer a bit before they proceed to look for a trade partner in the off-season.
I’m told that Jimmy found about Kawhi’s trade request via Instagram from some random fan. Jimmy was absolutely furious and stormed around his house for several hours.
He then drove straight to Kawhi’s house. They live 3 houses from each other. He walked right up to Kawhi.
Kawhi then responded to Jimmy’s distraught tone.
Jimmy then got visibly angry.
And things just went downhill from there.
And everyone was in shock and awe.
So guys, I have no idea how this will end up playing out but it definitely gives us something to talk about throughout the playoffs. I will update you on this tense situation as soon as any other details emerge. Have a great night!
