It was a slow and dreary day, but members of the media continued to file in accordingly to hear Digiskunk's next press conference. Digiskunk, who had just come off a promising sim, was anxious to discuss the new members of his roster following the major trade he conducted with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Digiskunk: Greetings, and thank you for arriving on such short notice. As you're all well aware, we've been holding off on this press conference until a very important important player—namely, Andrew Bogut—returned from injury. We felt that this was appropriate, as we didn't want to rush to conclusions prematurely; we hoped to see positive results once Bogut returned, and we saw just that this latest sim.

If you weren't already aware, earlier this month I committed myself to a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks. We were given an offer which, quite frankly, was too good to pass up; the Milwaukee Bucks had a hard one for Ricky Rubio, and they were prepared to give us Ryan Anderson and Darren Collison in exchange for him (Rubio) and Ed Davis. Like I said, it was too good to pass up.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Why would you make such a huge trade in the midst of an important season?" The reason is because we wanted scoring, and we wanted to see more flexibility at the power forward position — something that Ed Davis couldn't offer us. We looked at Ryan Anderson and saw a player who could rebound the ball, shoot efficiently (and efficiently), and remain in the game for long periods of time. We looked at Darren Collison, and saw a proven scorer who was anxious to spread the ball around and better his team through his leadership. At the time, I felt that it was an ideal trade for us — and I still feel that way now. Everybody walked away a winner. Except for the Kings. They'll always be losers if you ask me.

Immediately following the trade, we had mixed results; we weren't able to rebound the ball efficiently (mostly due to Bogut's inability to play) and we were unable to score more points than the opposition. But now that Bogut has returned, we've experienced great success: In the latest sim, we went on a 5‒1 run. That's pretty impressive if you ask me.

By adding Ryan Anderson, we add a lot of depth to the power forward position; whether it be scoring, rebounding, or even just staying on the court to be a menacing presence, he can do it all. And don't sleep on Darren Collison, neither! Although we lost Rubio, we've gained an elite scoring guard in Collison. He's been able to score effectively, assist, AND defend.

I am so happy with our team at the moment. Of course, it goes without saying that there's always work to be done — there's always room for improvement. But I feel as if I've made the appropriate changes necessary for improvement; I feel as if I've made the changes necessary to better this team heading forward.

Oh, and one last thing: The Sacramento Kings can burn in hell for all I care.

I'll now be taking questions from the press!
