2014-2015 #SLOE Pick 'Em - Sim 10
Posted: Sat Jun 03, 2017 5:33 pm
For sim 10, let's go all Letterman and go TOP ten. We've got ten games on March 23rd that look pretty good. So let's assemble some top 10 lists with them.
For all games on 3/23/15, list the:
1. Top Ten Highest Scoring Teams
2. Top Ten Lowest Allowing Teams
3. Top Ten Scoring Players
4. Top Ten Assisting Players
5. Top Ten Rebounding Players
If you get the right team or player in the right position in the top 10, you get 10 points. If you get the right team or player in the top 10, but in the wrong position in the top 10, you get 1 point. If there's a tie, any of the spots occupied by the tie will get you the full 10. For example, if Players A, B, and C are tied for 4th place in most points, and you guessed player A in 3rd place, player B in 5th place, and player C in 6th place, you would get 1 point for player A making the top ten at all, and 10 points each for player B and player C.
Got it? Good. My official entry is, as always, below if you need more guidance.
As always, EVERYONE can play every week. The best score from your division will be ranked against the best score from the rest of the divisions, so participation can only help your division's cause. And remember, you'll get points at the end of the season for having good attendance. Here's how the participation points break down.
Participate in 11+ Pick 'Ems: 5 points
Participate in 10 Pick 'Ems: 4 points
Participate in 9 Pick 'Ems: 3 points
Participate in 8 Pick 'Ems: 2 points
Participate in 7 Pick 'Ems: 1 point
Participate in 6 or fewer Pick 'Ems: No soup for you
Furthermore, if your division has the most cash at the end of Pick 'Em, you get 5 points...UNLESS YOU DON'T PARTICIPATE IN ANY PICK 'EMS. Here's the standings after week 9.
4th Place: Midwest - $2050
3rd Place: Pacific - $2150
2nd Place: Atlantic - $4200
1st Place: Central - $5700
For this sim and next sim, the prize structure will be:
1st Place: $1400
2nd Place: $900
3rd Place: $400
4th Place: Zero dollars, the comfort of a skinny wallet, and the absence of paranoia about being mugged.
