Balls O'Hard:Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to thank you for coming out today. Last season was the beginning of a reset by our team. We had DeMarcus Cousins and Gordon leading out team's future and both had the best seasons of their careers. Ultimately, we had a lot of players from out past and out future which was not well pieced together and that decided the fate of our season.
Balls O'Hard:This year, we have similar expectations. Because of our building last year, we had the opportunity to get Jusef Nurkic and Gary Harris as rookies in the draft and in trades.
Balls O'Hard:We were really were excited to take Nurkic with the 8th pick. He projects as our backup big behind Demarcus and will probably get a little more time that we're comfortable with, with DeMarcus' penchant for getting fouls.
Balls O'Hard:We are also excited about making a deal for 5th overall pick Gary Harris. Gary projects as a bit of a combo guard for us. He looks to have a lot of scoring potential, and if anyone watched us last year, you know scoring was something we were sorely missing.
Balls O'Hard:Training camp is always a hot topic here in Philly as it's been very controversial on how we run things here. Last year Demarcus came in out of shape and suffered for it. This year, Michael Beasley came in a little out of shape as well and also struggled. We have high hopes for him for adding some much needed scoring punch for us.
Balls O'Hard:In terms of expectations for the season, we think we'll be right around the same place as last year in terms of win loss and hope to add more youth to our squad as we watch our young guys develop.
Balls O'Hard:I'll now open the floor up for questions!

You have a potpourri of guards on the roster. Who do you expect to start opening night?

Good question, and I'll give you a scoop. We have agreed to a deal for Kevin Martin in principle on day 60. So he will be on the shelf for that period.
I think we will probably start Wroten and Harris to start the season.
Our lineup will probably look like this:
C: DeMarcus Cousins
PF: Michael Beasley
SF: Gordon Hayward
SG: Gary Harris
PG Tony Wroten

Perhaps this is a part of the Kevin Martin tidbit you leaked, but in looking for a PG, would you rather have someone who will grow with the team or someone who is a little more there to help the team grow, but at the expense of having to give up some of your young talent?

That's a bridge we will eventually have to cross for sure. I think an experienced guy would probably a little more beneficial at the cost of age and talent. We really need a lead guard out there to get Hayward, Cousins, and eventually Harris the ball in the right spots.

GWR: With Kmart on his way out, someone needs to step up as a dependable scorer on the team. Who do you anticipate taking charge offensively?

I really see Beasley and Cousins being our leading scorer and Hayward a little behind both of them. I think even with his bad TC Beasley will be a really important player for us.

Your team appears to be on board with the new-wave training system. How much of a difference do you feel this will make with the talent on your roster?

It really depends on if that training pans out in TC or not. I think we're going to transition our strategy a bit on how we use our points. I think it really helps us since we almost never are in the top 5 of the draft even in rebuilding years. With the new training system we can really tailor our guys to fit our system which is going to be massive as a team that relies on strategy a lot.

Seeing as you signed several players with the intent to trade them immediately, do you think guys will stop signing in Philadelphia?
