#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

THis was something we did in the old sim league as a pro-active measure of GM active-ness. With DCs being input via node, tracking DCs as a means of an active GM is getting more and more difficult. Something the Pelicans Report Sim League did that was pretty effective was a check-in thread. It opens in the beginning of the offseason and closes sometime after (maybe we can make it TC deadline). Everyone is required to post something in there once as a means to show you are still active and around. If you miss, you are out (obvious exceptions would be if you've submitted bids/actively participated in off-season but forgot to check in). This can prevent asleep at the wheel GMs from staying at the helm for seasons at a time.

I would rather see this used when the Conference Finals start, with teams needing to check in between Conference Final start and rookie draft.
