Knicks send:
Middleton,
Rockets 2015 First,
Knicks 2014 Second Rounder
Hawks send:
Jermey Lin
Archie Goodwin
Interesting trade, because I don't really get it for the Hawks. They already have forwards like Carmelo (playing PF) and Gay. I understand they have Nate currently, but he's a short-term piece. Lin will be an RFA so the Knicks get a piece for the long-term. My thinking is the hawks rather the cap space saved than moving forward with Lin. Is a blow up coming in Atlanta?

Wolves trade
Draymond Green
5 points
Bucks trade
Otto Porter, Jr.
An apology to Jordan for texting me too much last night
Good stuff, Dougie. Wolves accept.
The Bucks decide that ultimately, they rather a team where all 5 can pass the ball rather than waiting for Porter to grow. It's a fairly even trade, and if you just look at these players side-by-side, it's hard to argue one over the other here. In the end, team got and build will come into play before we can look back and determine if this trade produced a clear winner or loser.
Draymond brings a versatile, solid player to the Bucks wing position. Great at nothing, good or pretty good at about everything. He has been hit in TC, but maybe a change in scenery helps.
Porter is an interesting prospect that we haven't seen much of. He is super raw, but his potential is close to Shawn Marion. His strength and potential on the boards will easily be a key strength of Porter.
Give this trade several seasons before determining if it was the right move or not.

76ers Send:
Andrew Bynum
Wizerds 14
Heat 15
5 Points
Lakers Send
Zaza Pachulia
Mike Scott
Tony Parker
First thing that jumped out to me is Tray is taking a very untraditional route of taking on long-term contracts when everyone assumed he would rebuild. Bynum is still a good player on a big contract, but getting those picks were huge.
The 76ers made their choice: Cousins is the big man for the seasons to come. I thought 76ers would wait for next offseason to trade Bynum, but they end up getting depth and unloading a contract they felt did not fit the team going forward.

Warriors send:
Zach Randolph
2016 Second Rounder
10 Points
Spurs Send:
Arron Afflalo
Gerald Henderson
Shabazz Muhammad
Meyers Leonard
Corey Joseph
Warriors release Brandon Wright, Michael Finley, and Fransisco Garcia to make this work.
Warriors Accept. Best of luck Eazy.
My Media reaction:
This was a big trade. Zach Randolph has been a top PF in this league for a very long time, and he's still putting up All Star numbers. Eazy gets a true PF presence this team has been missing since Shareef, who gets to join Josh Smith and Russell Westbrook. Spurs got a lot better this season.
The Warriors have made it known the Randolph was ok the block for a 3P specialist, and the Warriors grabbed a good one. I see the vision now: Jordan can rebound, the rest of the team will shoot 3s. They get to do that now with Afflalo. I think the Warriors aren't as strong as they were with Randolph, but the Warriors have a good chance of Afflalo coming back for one more season, so this trade has a chance to keep the winning up next season since Randolph is an expiring.
My Kings GM reaction:
fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Wizards Receive:
•Patrick Patterson
•2 points
Warriors Receive:
•Kyle Singler
•Brandan Wright
I accept. Great talks, pleasure working with you. Looks like you got a wing, good luck!
I kind of glanced over this because of the Randolph trade by Warriors, but I thought Patterson was a good player to have if you're the Warriors, and they would be able to keep bird rights, but they do get depth in return. Patterson isn't ready for minutes now, so seems like a move to get more established players.
For Wizards, Patterson has the skill set that's becoming more common: PF/C that can shoot from deep. He's a project, but Wizards can benefit keeping him into his second contract. Comparable to Ryan Anderson.

The Singler trade happened before I even messaged Eazy about Afflalo. At that point, I was just looking for a decent wing for this year. With hindsight now, I'd prefer Patterson for the future, but I don't regret the move because of my situation at the time.
