#SLOE: People's Basketball Sim League

Hey guys! It's your unopposed winner of Hall of Fame coordinator! I know we're a little distracted with RFA right now, and it's the meat of the offseason, but I wanted to introduce a new idea I just had that will make the Hall of Fame forum a little more visited between now and when we release new nominations.

We've done a decent job of determining Hall of Fame status for former players. We nominate them and look at their accomplishments, then vote on them. For a bit of fun, I thought it would be interesting to look at guys who are CURRENT players and project if they'll become Hall of Famers. I'm going to list his accomplishments and his age, but NOT his name, and I want you to tell me if you think this player will eventually be in the Hall of Fame. For added bonus, try guessing who it is without trolling players on the index.

So here's our first player.

4x Defensive First Team

1x Championship

Age: 27

So...is ________ a Hall of Famer?

Yes. I'm gonna go with... Josh Smith?

Josh Smith, I think he's well on his way there but not yet based on previous voting.

Assuming he doesn't fall off a cliff, I think he will be a Hall of Famer. Somewhere between a Gary Payton and a Ben Wallace.

Really does remind me of Payton, but Smith is a more well known and respected player because of Eazys record as a GM during smiths career.

Good call, Doug. Yes, the player is Josh Smith. The consensus seems like "Yes," although I see a justified "Wait and see" which I agree with.
