GM: Welcome welcome once again to another media session with yours truly, Ian Quailmen. And here we are again on the cusp of yet another rebuilding season. We aren't going to sugar coat it. There will be a lot of bumps and growth along the way. We are a group of moving parts, still trying to figure things out. But this off-season we made huge strides.

GM: Last season was freakin' brutal, but we got to showcase some young guys like Derrick Favors, Chris Douglass Roberts, Jordan Farmar, Jason Thompson, and Brandon Jennings. Regardless of their future on the team, they were allowed to go out and develop their skills and help improve their own futures. Finishing the season with the 2nd worst record in the league, we managed to strike bronze in the draft lotto. This #3 pick allowed us to take a player that really was more of the 1c player in this draft in Kryie Irving. Last season we struggled on offense, but Kyrie is the antithesis of that. An offense devoid of scoring, Irving will be given a blank canvas for him to go out and discover his own role on this team.

GM: Our 2nd lotto pick in the draft landed us Enes Kanter, 19 year old big man out of Kentucky. He's a bit raw, but he has a pretty great skill set on both ends of the court. His development will take some time, but he will be a key cog in our offense for years to come.

GM: We also drafted Shelvin Mack in this draft, but when he showed no-showed Day one of TC, we were curious as to what happened. Team officials went to his apartment, only to discover him surrounded in mounds of cocaine, used condoms, and copious amounts of glitter and passion marks. Needless to say, he is suspended indefinitely from the team, and has been asked to stay home until he cleans up his act.

GM: Anyways, back to our off-season, before the trade moratorium went underway, we decided to make one big move. We saw an opportunity to strike while the iron was hot. The Miami Heat had grown wary of Michael Beasley's place and role on their team due to the derth of talent at spots 3-5. They also were seeking a young point guard to help guide their umpteenth reset around Lebron James. Brandon Jennings fit the bill, and an offer was made. It cost us a future 1st and some cash considerations, but Beasley, who is still only 22 years old, brings more offense, defense and versatility to our team. We are beyond excited to have him on board.

GM: Next came RFA... well, it was definitely dramatic. Controversy stirred from this period, with players being confused where their future was. Pretty much, this photo sums up this period of RFA:

GM: However, while tenuous at first, relations between the Spurs and Bucks organization has stabilized and both organizations have moved past this event and will not let it define their off-seasons, as both teams have great futures to come.

GM: During Free Agency, while teams scrambled to create cap space, we decided to utilize our ample amounts of space to acquire cash and future draft picks as compensation for unwanted contracts. It paid off in dividends, as we brought in 3 draft picks and over 20 league points. This plus the signings of DJ White (TC stand-out) and Randolph Morris (budding 2nd year player with a lot of great potential) has us feeling pretty confident in our future, both asset and talent wise.

GM: That brings us to training camp. All players came in very excited about opportunities to compete for large minutes on this team. Stand-outs include new and old faces. Michael Beasley and Derrick Favors came out swinging, both having the best camps of all players on the team (+52 a piece). Kyrie also made his presence known (+42). DJ White didn't take the competition lightly, and wanted to show he was a camp body (+32). Overall, camp left a very good taste in our mouth, and we look forward to seeing our young cast of up-and-comers showcase their talents on the hardwood.

GM: Any questions?

GWR: Is it safe to say that now that you've drafted your future star, the next phase of the rebuild can begin?

We definitely will be looking to build from within now. I still think we are easily 2-3 years from legitimately competing for a playoff spot, but who knows. We've seen more shocking things.

You talked about beasleys versatility. Can we expect to see him at all 5 positions at some point his year?

How many more years of rebuilding will your team be under, in your best guess?

It's very possible. He could very easily see time at spots 2-5. 1 would be a stretch, but if a Center can play PG for 1 game and go to the hall of fame, then what's stopping beasley?

Realistically, counting this season, 2 or 3. Just depends on our players' development.

Random Reporter: What does Beasley's arrival mean for Favors, who's been on and off the trading block for his entire rookie season?

Actually, I don't see them too much as a competition or making Favors expendable. Beasley will fill some back up minutes at the 4, but we are hoping to see if Derrick can make a bit of a leap this year after a phenomenal camp.

Can you address rumors that Shelvin has filed for a name change to Mack Daddy?

Two questions. You had both Shaq and Big Z during some very good to great years. What are your thoughts on their retirement?

Also, do you feel like your big 3 has been secured long-term and now you're just putting pieces together until they develop?

Why haven't DC movies lived up to the hype compared to Marvel movies?

What's your thought on the DC Rebirth? Do you feel it was necessary?

How long are you going to pretend like you're actually going to wait out a slow rebuild? Bucks make the playoffs next year. Count on it.

Shelvin, before he battles for the backup guard spot, needs to battle his inner demons.

I cannot wait until they both retire a Milwaukee Buck.

As for our Big 3, while I would love to say that we are just putting pieces around them while they develop, you all know me by now. No way is this the final product, but I do believe a good bit of the final product is already in house. If that makes sense.

I mean, With young guys, as much as you want to rush a rebuild, they need to be ready before taking it to the next level. Moving prematurely can only impede the process. I.E. Kings thought they were ready for the big show last year, but turns out they needed that one last year for growth purposes. Now they look poised to compete. We'll hopefully be back there soon.

Do you have any concerns about drafting a lead guard who's first instinct isn't to pass?

Are you trying to acquire a PG?
