Hello all! Thanks for coming. We've been super busy lately. As you can see we have a new team at the helm and are very excited. But anytime you flip the old for new, that comes with lots of new with as well. Lots of training, lots of teaching, lots of learning. We are at the very early stages of this rebuild but we think it has much promise.
The players: Starters
C-Yao Ming: He was pretty much our #1 target. Wasn't feeling too good about him still being there after round one. After all, he is a nearly 20ppg extremely tall center. But we landed on what we think is a fantastic 3 year deal. He stayed the same in TC, so we are very happy.
PF-Griffin: So here is our obvious gem. He is a man among boys while being a boy. He is still a green current rating guy, yet is very ready to go toe to toe with the best. He is a big reason we wanted Yao so bad. That allows Blake to play the 4 where he belongs. And wreck opponents. Good luck stopping him.
SF-General Grievous: Yes, the General will be our starting SF. Why? Well the answer is simple. While he has the best PG potential on the team, he currently is not our best PG. But he's not a bad player and his size I believe, allows him to play the 3 and the 2 efficiently. I may be wrong but that's unlikely.
SG-Ellis: Here's our high volume slasher/shooter. He does enjoy jacking up shots. We are working on that. We would like to see him work on his efficiency and taking better shots. Nevertheless he will be the guy other teams fear in the last 2 minutes of the game.
PG-Livingston: Here's the best PG on our team. Has he ever played pg in this league? No, not to my knowledge. But his athletics are there as are his ratings. We feel he is our best option at point guard and at 6'7" he can be a problem to many teams.
Thanks and please fire away with the questions!
