A player who was released will not be able to be signed until 8pm CST of the following day. Once 8pm CST hits, it becomes a Free For All signing opportunity (first come, first serve). Any signing thread of that player posted prior to 8pm CST will be disqualified (and subsequently locked). End of Day cutoffs will also be CST (See Example 2).

Exception: A player cut between Phase 3 of UFA and the beginning of the Free-For-All period is eligible to be signed at the beginning of the Free-For-All even if 24 hours have elapsed per 2014-15 Proposition 10.
A player cut after Phase 2 or 3 of UFA may not be signed until the Free-For-All signings post-Training Camp.
Example 1: Team A cuts a player X on Monday Jan 1 at 11am. Player cannot be signed until 8pm the following day (Jan 2), at which it would be a free for all signing.

Example 2: Player X is released by one of our west coast residing GMs at 11pm PST on Jan 2. 11pm PST on Jan 2 is 1am CST on Jan 3. Therefore, Player X will not be able to be signed until 8pm CST on Jan 4.
